Why would it be such a silly deal? It was a big money fight for Ward. Froch was making big money in the UK.
Maybe you are right. Chances are Ward could well have lost facing Froch away in the UK and in Nottingham. Possibly wise of Ward not to take that challenge

Froch even admitted Ward would UD him if they fought again, Ward beat Froch conclusively and there was no contraversial judging there.

Whilst I do think Ward would have beat Ward by UD too, I accept Ward is a diva in terms of negotiating and he probably was not gunna allow himself to lose full control of a deal to a fighter he had beaten already.

This. He wasn't going to take over the 175 lb'ers. The depth there is scary coming through. Some hungry mofo's

I brought him up, as that is the calibre of opponents Ward is comfortable with.

Notice he never has any trouble with negotiations with those type of fighters...hell he even paid Paul Smith's fine for him when he missed weight and jeopardized the fight with his unprofessional ism. He was so grateful for him coming in flabby and out of shape they then became best friends.

Notice now when he is forced to face the possibility of fighting the top dogs he completely messes them around with low ball offers or unreasonable terms that no one in their right mind would accept besides out of desperation.

Yet Ward didnt want to take the fight because it was in Frochs home place?
Ward fought faded Froch who I think was fatigued with the talk before their fight. Frioch had been abroad for 5 of his last 6 fights and had a far tougher schedule.
Froch having been rested and at home I think would have been far tougher for Ward.
The first fight was close at times and I think would have been tougher for Ward.
It could be about power but it could also possibly be for the same reasons Ward wanted his Super 6 fights at home.
American SMWs have not got a good track record in world title fights when they travel to Europe and for some reason dont seem to perform the same.
I wonder if Ward had seen this pattern and decided against the challenge

Crazy because I'm not willing to explain away the actions of a coward?

Laughable are these Andre Ward sycophants, indeed.

The first fight wasn’t close overall, of course Froch had moments he is a world class fighter but bare in mind Ward beat him with one arm essentially he suffered an injury and was only really using his left arm.

You do know Ward was not favourite in the super six? He wasn’t even supposed to beat guys like Froch, Abraham or Kessler according to the bookies so how could he be the reason why the super six took place in America?

I wouldn't be surprised if Froch come out second best everytime against Jnr in sparring. Under the lights and 12 rounds is another story. You think he demolishes Groves ? I got him grinding him down as I don't think Groves is the same as the Froch fights. I could see Groves laying JNR out as hes throwing the sink at him out of nowhere prime, now hes more conservative and less cocky and I think Jnr climbs over him. I did get a surprise how much bigger Groves was at the press conference head to head, that might be a problem, he might be too strong for Eubank !

It's always some excuse, lmao. Always lol. Froch believes that Ward retired partly because of Bivol, lmao.

I felt it was close. 2 judges had it close and I scored the same as the judges. Several rounds very little happened and I think some scored based on ring generalship rather than the action.
I scored for Ward but it was only by a few rounds.

The injury you claim. I read that Ward wasnt aware of it until after the fight and that it hadnt been a problem. I dont think Ward would go in with an injury when he pulled out against Froch originally due to a small cut, weeks before the fight

I guess you havent seen the Super 6 program? Wards early fights were to be home fights. It was agreed or arranged.
I have seen the program and it was posted on here one time.
Ward even mentions something about it after a bout

And that right there was why the fight with Froch didn't happen. Fact is Goosen spoiled him in regards to the Super 6. He was so used to getting his own way and having every advantage possible and refused fights unless he had every advantage.
