If Froch turned down the fight , he would have lost his mandatory position meaning he would not have been able to fight for Joe's vacant belt.
You don't know whats going on.

    GGG is made for Froch!!!

id fancy Froch pretty heavily after watching GGG gas so early in fights lately while not really under a great deal of pressure...the jury is out on GGG for me atm...

its exactly the type of fight Froch wants/likes.......its people like Ward he hates fighting

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/sunsport_columnists/article2395099.ece

Read the article then numb nuts Hennessy admits it himself and ****** still maintains an offer was made to this day. Froch had been calling Calzaghe out for ages when he was about 8-0 and he knew it wasn't going to happen then after Calzaghe beat Lacy Froch was offered the fight when his record was about 18-0 and after all of the mouthing off he'd been doing for ages turned it down I remember him even saying on some broad cast that he realized he needed a bit more time after the Lacy fight.

Then when Calzaghe beat Kessler and was clearly moving onto bigger things and had said before the Kessler fight he was going to have two fights in America then retire Froch came out from under his rock and started calling Calzaghe out to fight him at a catch weight.

It's re****ed people like you who fill everybody's heads with **** saying Calzaghe vacated his title to avoid defended it with Froch. No Calzaghe had 3 titles, fought Kessler for the WBC (who Froch was the number 1 contender for) and vacated all of his titles to have a fight with Hopkins and Kessler and Hopkins in their primes at the time were both miles better than Froch ever was. If Calzaghe was just trying to duck Froch he would have only vacated the WBC and defended the other two but he had already stated he was moving up.

The only fight people wanted to see Calzaghe in at that time which never happened was Kelly Pavlick and like I said Froch was a mouthy little **** towards Calzaghe just like Groves was with him years later except the only difference is Groves had the ***** to actually get in the ring and try to back it up unlike Froch.

How is GGG made for Froch. A past it Kessler gave Froch hell in the rematch and all he did was stand and trade with him the whole fight. People over estimate this warrior can't be hurt or slowed down ****e about Froch.

The jury may be out on Golovkin but let's not forget Froch got massively over hyped for wins over past it fighters like Bute, Kessler and Abraham who you'd all have to fancy to be taken apart by Golovkin at this stage.

because Froch wont have to go looking for GGG...and say what you like about him the guy is made from granite and can fight a full 12 rounds at pace.

im no Froch fanboy but after watching GGGs last couple of fights i dont think that he can fight 12 rounds at Frochs pace,PLUS GGG will be moving up and carrying extra weight.....that said GGG obviously has concussive power which just makes this fight so appealing to me....

it wont happen though, none of the proper match-ups we all want to see are getting made these days...its really pizzing me off

Don't be ridiculous. You can't duck somebody when you're 8-0.

Froch was mad to fight Calzaghe. Everybody remembers that.
