Deakin shouldn't be fighting.

He's a brave lad but he gets banged up each and every time he's on. It's not like he's got a bit about him like a Johnny Greaves kinda journeyman.... he'd be embarrassed against Peter Buckley.

Some of the ''journeymen'' around 135-147 are very poor at the minute and need weeding out. Kristian Laight, Deakin and a few others hardly ever win a minute of a round, never mind extend the opponent.

 

There was a lot of needle between Deakin and Devine before the fight I think?

Not blaming him but he claims if he gets to train he beats people and he sadly doesn't yet he's always adamant he's cheated when most times i don't think it's case. He shouldn't be fighting IMHO as SR rightly says. It's ridiculous he's punchy and had issues in past. A gym mate of mine years back beat him on pro debut other month.

 

You can't blame them if they enjoy it that much and are meetings the boards requirements to have a license.
