Listening to it as i write this....Bute said trying to arrange a fight against Kessler was like winning the lotto.....almost impossible !! :)

Lots of respect between these 2 guys, can't wait for this one !

Hahahha... I don't know french that well but I was rolling on the floor when he said:
It will be hard for me when I walk to the ring and until the bells ring, after that it will be a total silence and only the Quebecois will be heard : "Heee Bute"

Bute is a little sunburned from Florida.

No need from Florida. It was 27 degrees in Montreal these days... same as in Miami. :p

A record for the month of March. Some years, it's still snowing at that time.

Aaaalright. Here's a point form recap of what they said when asked questions after the press conference, vids on rds.ca......

    Jean Bedard:

-We have a one-way rematch clause. Bute loses, we do the rematch in Canada. Froch loses... that's it.
-Doesn't remember any of the details pertaining to judge selection.
-Froch was adamant not to come to Montreal.
-Froch is Bute's mandatory, so they're hitting two birds with one stone.
-Ward didn't want the fight in April or May, and Showtime pushed for Bute to wait around until Ward said 'yes let's do it'.

    Stephan Larouche:

-Camp is scheduled for 26 March -- 9 May, will be in London in hotel & gym of their choosing starting May 12th.
-Will prepare Bute mentally for a complete 180 degree vs what he's used to for a fight atmosphere.

    Carl Froch:

-"I lost a close points decision to an American, in America. I don't see any problem beating Bute, no problem at all."
-Bute's fight against Johnson was a sparring session, hard to gauge.
-I'm Bute's first world caliber opponent, the man has no experience at world level.
-One big advantage for me is that I will feel the vibrations from the crowd when going to work.
-Biggest challenge is to get in good shape. Rest is no problem.
-I prefer to fight southpaws, I will have had a fantastic preparation by fight time.
-Latest world level run of opponent will not affect me, I actually throw more punches than I receive.

    Lucian Bute:

-Froch was the best available opponent, he's part of the elite at SMW.
-I told my management team, 'I wanna travel for this, it's time'.
-I know how to manage pressure, in all of my fights so far I could not afford to lose.
-I will demonstrate, on May 26th, that I am strong mentally/psychologically.
-It will be one heck of a show.
-I'm always back in the gym 2 weeks after a fight.
-I'm mentally well, I have great confidence for this fight, my left hand is at 100%.
-I can't ask for more, I'm very happy about the deal.
-Froch is good, he's strong, but he's slow, very slow and he makes some mistakes.
-Eric Lucas is a mentor for me when it comes to experience, he's part of my team and he's a friend of mine.
-I was surprised Froch was so kind to me in his comments over in the UK and here today, because he's smack talked me for years now. He will stop talking on May 26th.
-I thought Froch was bigger than me, but he's actually my size.

I missed the part on his hand. Glad to hear it's completely healed. I want Bute to hit Froch with all he's got. :D
