Remember how Froch called Calzaghes excuse that he "doesn't have the desire anymore" and "can't make weigh anymore" as proof Calzaghes a coward and lacks manhood? Well look at Froch now. Copying Calzaghe's move 100%.
its no suprise..fighters say alot of meaningless stuff....shoes on the other foot ...you never really see things from the other guys perspective until you become that other guy
There were more UK fans in attendance to watch Carl Froch's last fight than there were people in the US who bought the Triple Duck's first [and only] PPV. LOL...
Froch, you can't make 168? Well, we'll feed you to the monsters Kovalev and Beterbiev instead at 175.
Some of these idiotic interviewers should ask Froch about the Calzaghe situation 10 years ago. I would love to hear him stutter around and explain this.
Hi mate, I know you're a big fan, but he just winds me up. He should keep his thoughts to himself, unless he's made a firm decision either way that he's going to stick to 100% It's ridiculous that he's now saying he can't make the weight and the desire's not there. It was only about a week ago where he stated that he was in great shape and training everyday, and he still had the desire and that he could come back and give DeGale a pasting next year. What's changed within the last few weeks? Was he jealous of the attention DeGale was getting? I get that it must be incredibly hard to be in the position that he's in. But he's contradicting himself all of the time. He's either just massaging his ego in public, or he genuinely can't make a commitment either way. But it's just messing the fans around.
Yes, I agree. I'm not in his position, so it's unimaginable to know what it must be like for him right now. Again, I fully respect that it must be incredibly hard for him to make a concrete decision either way. But at the moment, he's basically giving false hope to the fans and contradicting himself. In this recent interview, he's clearly implied that his comments were taken out of context. Yet if you listen to his interview on TalkSPORT, they weren't.
