He got caught with a good shot and looked ugly...howmany prospects does this happen to...I'll agree though he has deficiencies and he's too in- love with his cuteness. He doesn't have a killer's attitude in the ring.

lately pascal has been great, but prior to his last 2 fights, he was utter garbage. after he went to the states to train against froch he came back a new fighter.

By the way - Yvon Michel, the owner of GYM was at the same bar as i was, went INSANE when Taylor got KOed - that put his boxer, Pascal, into the serious $$$.

Watch for Pascal Green? COuld well be.

    Not crazy = " styles make fights " ( Lennox Lewis )
Ali ko'd Foreman, Frazier could not....Frazier knocked down Ali..\
Foreman could not...Foreman stopped Frazier twice early..>Ali could not
Frazier went the distance with Ali more than once, I recall??
Foreman did not last as long as Frazier...yup, kinda crazy :good

yo thats even more amazing to me.... i was at that omar pittman fight... i dont even think he had a ring man.. **** was amazing... he walked into the ring all alone in a wife beater... they looked like they got him out of some local ft lauderdale gym

but maybe omar was inspired by the crowd. he had atleast 4 or 5 "OMAR-OMAR" chants.... the crowd loved him but he couldnt finisht the job

Nobody can give a reason so unfortunately I'm going to be the dickhead and ask you to give me a few reasons as to why an unproven in Jean Pascal (who I saw wobbled against Omar "THE BEAST" Pittman and Brian Norman) whose biggest track mark to date is a loss to Carl Froch is better than Jermain Taylor.

I'd like all of you numbnuts to please explain to me then how Pascal lost to Carl Froch WITHOUT getting KO'd.

At least Taylor was outboxing Froch for most of the fight and was ahead on the cards. He lost the only possible way he could've lost to Froch - he got caught and stopped.

Pascal may not have gotten stopped but he wasn't going to beat Froch regardless so your argument about him being better is Taylor is pretty f'ing ridiculous.

Taylor put Carl on the mat - Pascal didn't. If we're using your faulty logic that KOs and KDs determine who is better, wouldn't that be an argument that Taylor is better than Pascal? :-(

Both guys lost to Froch . But Pascal isnt that hittable. Definately harder to land a clean shot on Pascal.

Pascal was using his Roy Jones-like skills to avoid Froch's telegraphed shots. Taylor used a high guard instead. Froch didn't land on either flush much, until the last round when Taylor lost it. In fact, he caught Pascal with the bigger flush shots, but that was early on, and from the mid-rounds on, Pascal decided he couldn't win and just clinched on hell or high water, his head around Froch's beltline, to make it out alive. If Taylor had clinched more, he'd have won.
