    From Steve Bunce Interview

"I think it's James DeGale or it's Gennady Golovkin," Froch said to reporter Steve Bunce. "Probably in that order. If they called up tomorrow and said we've got the DeGale fight and we think it will sell Wembley, and they start being reasonable with the split they're looking for then maybe."

"But all of a sudden now he's champion, he's getting a bit unrealistic about how much he's worth and I don't need to be listening to that silly talk and bowing down to anyone who thinks they may be the next big thing.

    Who should he fight ?

Of course it's Degale before GGG.Froch wouldn't go near GGG except to drop his name in the papers for publicity.

Honestly, I think Golovkin is a better fight for Froch specifically, DeGale presents an unfavourable stylistic match up for him and I don't think it'd make as much money for him or gain him as much prestige as beating Golovkin would.

Yeah the Degale fight is more of a domestic fight ..GGG does present a different challenge but honestly I don't think he has the same success at smw as he did have mw ..This reminds me of AA all over again

I think a Degale fight makes more money in the UK than a GGG fight, now that James has Carl's old title. Brits should weigh in.

Degale makes more money in England than a Golovkin fight. The British pay ten times as much for two of their boys to go at it as they do for one of their boys against a foreigner. That's why it makes no sense for Khan not to fight Brook. They'd make as much for that fight as if they fought Mayweather. Froch made 13 million dollars off the second Groves fight alone. He got one million dollars for fighting Ward.

    Froch should retire

Hes a bit of a knob head so I wouldn't mind seeing him beat before he goes though

Well DeGale ain't gonna do it.

Though if ur a combination Froch fan/GGG hater...you'd like to see the Cobra tear DeGale limb from limb

    I agree.
Stylistically, Froch has better chance vs GGG.

As a Froch fan but also a GGG fan I'd like to see DeGale vs GGG....SO we could get unification of GG VS GGG.

As a Froch fan, he might be a underdog against GGG, but i could easily see Froch stop GGG if he is not shot to pieces.

Golovkin doesnt seem to be leaving middleweight at least until late next year.

Golovkin is a gold medalist amateur champion, is an astounding boxer-puncher with knock out power, has been crushing top 10 middleweights left and right, yet you compare him to Arthur Abraham? People have said Golovkin punches like a heavyweight, no doubt he defeats 98 percent of the 168 division, Ward MIGHT potshot his way to victory, but Golovkin has never been out boxed.

    :deal

I compare him because it's not easy moving up in weight pedigree aside they both had similar aura 's but once AA stepped up he got exposed quick .. The same could happen to GGG ..GGG may defiantly be the more well rounded boxer but if he can't bully these guys likes he doing at MW then what ? And can he handle the punches from the smw's ..Those questions are still unanswered ..

So tell me how many of Golovkins recent opponents were knocked out cold ?

Froch would grind him down and beat him up.

    Ward would simply embarrass him.
