Totally fair. The only fighter I've seen who is adverse to testing so far is Pacquiao.

The supersix contracts stipulated that all the contestants could be subject to drugtesting.

I guess the clause was put in the contracts by Team Sauerland who's fighters has to give a whereabout scheme to the german anti doping agency in Berlin thereby subjecting themselves to yearround random testing. Whenever Sauerland stages a fightcard in Germany all of the participating fighters subject themselves to the german testing. The Sauerland fighters are subject whereever they are on the planet and the visiting fighter probably not before he sets foot on german soil.

The american anti-doping measures are much more lenient and full of loopholes.

Froch should have his promotor install OST ASAP to avoid any suspiciouns regarding Ward's association with the convicted drugdealer and BALCO chief Victor Conte.

Usually this is something that gets worked out BEFORE the fight contract is signed. However, I have no problem with any fighter requesting additional PED testing to be done for their bout.

Too many modern athletes, great ones included, have been caught for PEDs. The more testing the better in my view.

Yea because testing is really going to hurt Ward's performance.

Ward said before Froch even mentioned it that he wanted to do OSDT for this fight but backed off of it when he saw the price for it

Exactly. Conte made his name and fortune off of never having an athlete test positive. There's nothing to me that says they'd be any more likely to catch him with a test now than they were before.

This could serve some value to Froch as an inconvenience to Ward, nothing more.

He's in bed with snakes, no reason not to test him. Although if it's one thing Conte knows, it's how to circumvent any types of testing.

Since the contract is signed I would, if I were Ward, happily agree to take the test upon receipt of $100,000.
