Credit where credits due and in Froch's case it's long overdue. He's an old school warrior!!

If frock was a 'star' and could pack out large venue's in the UK he would be wanting more fights over here.

Froch was calling Calzaghe and everyone was like, "who's Froch?". In hindsight, Froch would be the best win on Calzaghe's resume now (had he won).

Calzaghe didnt want Froch, Froch was tough and hungry High risk low reward at the time. He wasnt a Manfredo or a Evans Ashira.

A bit of an unfair comment as Froch wasnt recognised outside of the UK very well at the time and Calzaghe could either fight Froch in the UK or go to America and fight Ring LHW P4P #3 Hopkins for more money. Hopkins was considered a bigger win then and a more recognised fighter for more money.
If Calzaghe had of fought Froch he would have been fighting a green fighter, compared to a highly rated one like Hopkins, and would have been ridiculed for fighting Froch instead of Hopkins.

Although I rate Ward's boxing skills he aint no warrior like this man Froch. He is a hometown Byatch.

This nonsense of fighting out of town in neutrel territory makes no ****ing business sense.Froch draws what maybe 8000 in his home town and AA draws 15,000 in Germany.Froch and AA would BOTH have made more $ had the fight been in Germany and the outcome would have been the same.Shortsighted by both parties, but then again no one will ever confuse Froch and Fat Mick with Einstein.:nut

    Good luck with that. :deal

Bailey tried to say his picking Froch to win wasn't a 'home town pick' because Bailey isn't from Nottingham. But apparently everyone from the US, no matter where they fight or live, is fighting at home in the US. :huh

I aint talking about post Kesser only.

Froch called him out when he was British champ. Then when he was Commonwealth Champ. Then when he was European Champ. Then when he was WBC SMW Mandatory. Then when he became WBC SMW champ. Also when Calzaghe retired, Froch called him out after Jermain Taylor.

Frank Warren didnt want it, Calzaghe as usual didnt speak up regarding the issue untill he left Warren. It would have sold in the UK, and would have been better than alot of Calzaghe opposition even at the time.

I remember when Calzaghe beat Lacy, Froch did seem suprised as many, and he praised Calzaghe then he calmed down calling him out for a bit. But he was still there banging the door. Frank Warren, and Calzaghe didnt seem interested.

But Froch deserves credit for fighting away as often that he does.

The divide between England Scotland Wales and NI are far far far greater and more pronounced than the divide between states within the united states.

For example an englishman fighting a welshman in wales has no chance in a close or near close decision and so on.
