Dirrell is gonna take Carl "The Gardensnake" Froch to school. TKO or lopsided UD. I don't care the if fights in England, Froch is gonna get beat so bad, the judges wouldn't dare rob him.
dirrell has great legs as he showed in the curtis stevens fight (which was one of the worst fights of all time) i could see him maintaining distance and pot-shotting his way to a victory... froch is ponderous compared to dirrell and one-dimensional although that one dimension is effective
I'm going to this fight and I think Froch will take it on points. Will be bamboozled for the first five rounds but will take the 2nd half with pressure; he's the champ and it's in his hometown he will win it on pts.
by the way the line on dirrell is +115 only, suggesting this is pretty much a toss-up whereas for abraham-taylor you can get +190 on taylor
Must admit, i never seen anything special in Froch, and i had Taylor beating Froch easily.. Big mistake! Froch is a warrior, limited skills but probably the most dangerous fighter of the six! I simply dont know enough about Direll to say who gonna win.. One thing is for sure, Nobody should count out Froch before the fight is over, i know i wont anymore!
I'm a big fan of Froch (though it's clear he's not technical in even the loosest aspect) but I have to say Abraham is the most destructive puncher. Froch has a better workrate so I'm not disagreeing with you per se......I just think Abraham is more dangerous, good solid style and when he unleashes..............get out of the way:good
Yeah, I heard some sick stuff about Abraham punching power! He have more one punch power, but i think he`s size could trouble him.. the other guys are quite tall! But i know i`m not counting anyone out, before the first fights are over
I've not seen Direll fight so I counld'nt coment on who will win the fight but I will say that I think Froch is really going to lose bad to Kessler and Abraham , because he fights with a style that he does'nt have the abilites for and are not good enough for him to pull it of , to be sucessful with that style you need speed , great reflexs and pinpoint timing which Froch has none of , he's going to lose bad when he meets Kessler and Abraham who will take avantage of the weakneses in Froch's style.
hahaha, I would not place all my eggs into one basket just yet, I respect Froch as a tough competitor but I honestly believe that both of us heavily feel that the other man can win so whoever wins they would of hopeully deserved the victory. As long as there isn't some controversial decision then we definitely should be able to agree on whoever the winner might be but as of now I am sticking with my prediction and I have to say Dirrell especially if Dirrell gets his mindstate right. He needs to make sure he goes in there knowing exactly what he needs to do, he normally fights to a strategy and I can see Dirrell maybe testing the waters and standing toe to toe with Froch to see what he's got but then if the heat is too much in the kitchen he will keep his distance and look for sharp counter opportunities and if anyone can counter on Froch all night long its Dirrell. I just hope your ready for your new avatar pic come the day after the fight LOL
froch wins by tko between rounds 4-6 i went bookies on it aswel already ive seen dirrels fights on youtube truss his chins shakey and he swings wildly
considering the obvious advantages (physical or otherwise) which froch has over dirrell, which are as follows: Home Support/Advantage, Experience, Better Chin, Better Stamina (having fought several 12 rounders), Harder Puncher, and Underrated Speed. this makes it quite easy for me to favour froch. and i feel he will deliver a ko against the comparatively gunshy dirrell. also for those foolish enough to judge froch or dirrell for that matter on the merits of watching one fight (namely taylor for froch, and oganov for dirrell) you are obviously exposing your own stupidity. Froch was quite visibly suffering from stagefright in the first 5 or so rounds of the taylor fight. and dirrell in his fight with oganov, was fighting someone who was pretty damn slow and very small for the weight he was fighting at. besides dirrell got knocked down twice against Derrick Findley of all people (and that the referee was too incompetant to score them as kd's doesnt take away from the fact that he got caught by the 5'6 piece of crap referred to as mr heavy bag. all the ways i look at this fight i only see the one outcome, and this fight isn't going to the scorecards. dirrell wont be able to run forever before he get's sparked.
It will depend 100% on whether Dirrell actually has a chin (it's untested), has stamina (he's never really needed to go 12 hard rounds) and is able to fight smart. If he can do those, he should win a pretty wide decision, maybe made a bit closer by the fact that the fight is in England. If he can't, I can see Froch walking though him.
