Froch should get this one but I will not be surprised if he get outboxed, Andre is much quicker.

As long as Dirrell doesn't get stupid and try and trade with Froch, it should be an easy UD for him.

Good call. As you say, there are variables in this fight; but, as long as Dirrell can take the odd punch and fights intelligently, he has the skills to take home a UD.

bad fight but a boxing lesson...then dirrell must have been told to get a bit more aggressive cuz he steamrolled the rest...dirrell is FAR better than JT skill wise and prob won't gas in the last rd so he should win comfortably

With wins over Robin Reid former WBC, Brian Magee former IBO, Jean Pascal current WBC 175lbs and Jermaine Taylor former undisputed middleweight champion, Froch is really getting the rewards he deserves now with the big super 6 competition. I'd love to go to the fight in Nottingham.

JT and dirrell have two totally different styles but if i had to quantify their skill-sets i would agree that dirrell is more talented

it should also be pointed out that dirrell's particular style is more suited to defeating someone like froch

The difference for Froch will be Dirrell - unlike Froch's other opponents - fights off the backfoot and very well so I can see him catching Froch often.

Still, I doubt he will handle either 12 rounds or Froch's pressure. Chisled bodies much like Dirrell's often loose steam in later rounds as we've seen with Pascal & Taylor. Froch is very consistent with his workrate whereas Dirrell has yet to prove his stamina.

I think Froch'll start slow, Dirrell will look impressive and notch up a few rounds. Then somewhere in the mid to late rounds Dirrell will start to wear ever so slightly under Froch's pressure. Seemingly out of nowhere, and quite against the run of play they'll moan, Froch'll catch him cleanly and for the first time you'll see the American's legs just wobble a bit, Froch'll taste blood and swoop in throwing bombs without any kind of regard for his own defense or safety. Dirrell wont crumple as you'd expect but the ref does the right thing and stops it, maybe round 10. The mighty Froch express marches on.
Sorry I can't be a bit more specific with my prediction but that'll have to do. I'll be in the crowd too come October 17th.

Sorry but I predict and am hoping for a brutal KO of Dirrell. if the fight is stopped and declared a TKO, there'll be loads of bitching about "home cooking" to tolerate. It's a title fight and personally I hope that the ref lets it go the distance.

I have to disagree with you. Taylor has far better timing and lands much cleaner punches than Dirrell from what i've seen. He also has other attributes which IMO easily outweigh what Dirrell brings to the table.

Froch's bluff will be calmed man. Dude has no speed, he's not skilled he simply throws his wide hooks hoping to land. C'mon now, if Jermain had any type of stamina he would've won that fight pretty easily. Heck if the ref didn't stop it I still had him up on points in that fight. I think Andre is just gonna bring the handspeed, the footspeed, and he'll win a pretty nice UD.
