I've just spoken to the Virgin Media customer services on why they wont be showing the Carl Froch fight when it's actually a ppv event. The customer services advisor told me we will be able to watch the fight on ppv.If you go to :more on demand, live events you will be able to purchase the fight tomorrow. She did mention you wont be able to see the information today but will certainly do tomorrow. Anyone who wants to check the info please do call them.I was really pissed off about the prospect of not watching the fight on plasma.
I hope this is true... I really didn't want to hook my PC up to the TV in the front room, too much hassle
Are you sure bro because I called them up and all I got was someone telling me the same thing but it sounded like they didn't have a ****ing clue. Not sure about that dude. Going to ring em again
I spoke to an Asian lady, she was having a hard time pronouncing these names because she was reading the information on her system.Just call the customer services and they will tell you.I just cant stand the idea of watching such big fights on a laptop.I really hope it goes well
Nar I just rang them mate and spoke to an English speaking guy and he said no Virgin Media have not got rights to show it, it is a sky only ppv for sky customers. ****ing pissed
mate they told me this a week ago - rang the next day and they said no chance - did they mention channel 752 ? my hopes have gone up again
The Indian lady was actually reading this from her system, she doesnt know anything about boxing. It will be :more tv on live events Then we should be able to book it.Eventually it could be on channel Zero.
Bro I suggest you give them a call again now because the person I spoke to not too long ago told me that Virgin Media dont have the rights for the PPV, that is a Sky Only event. There would have been at least some news of this by now on the internet and if its not leaked out tomorrow then I dont think I am going to wait to test the theory. You was probably put through to the Indian call centre, they dont have a clue what their talking about half the time. The same Indian man who I first spoke to told me the same thing. They dont know what we are referring to, they seem to think that we are just asking about an event that they think is on Virgin Media. We wont get it guaranteed, otherwise they would of told us by now We never got UFC 100 either, Sky got UFC 100 on the racing channel Virgin Media needs to pull their ****ing fingers out
Did you ask for customer services? Where would she be reading this from if it wasnt on her system? I will wait until tomorrow then if it's not there by 4pm I will buy the internet fight
