The Taylor camp always talks a good story, but as the story goes, alot of JT's training focused on rounds 10-12. He had a completely new diet, a completely new road work routine, and did a lot of weight/strength training to improve JT's little bird legs.

Taylor and Abraham both look a little fleshy to me.Fighting Taylor is no barometer to measuring how good Abraham is at SMW,Taylor has moved up in weight as well remember.I think Abraham will be shocked by Taylors power, and more shocked if he gets in the ring with Froch or Kessler.

Obviously JT is not a KO artist, but I do agree that AA is in for some surprises. Other than Miranda, most of Arthur's opponents were lower level guys who had KO ratios under 40% against poor opposition. That contributed alot to the illusion that he is some kind of monster. He never had to worry much about what was coming back at him. Against JT, he better worry about that. Jermain's combination of speed and power will rattle the **** out of AA in the opening rounds.

Jermain Taylor is about 186cm, Abraham is about 176-177cm. It's really fascinating that such a huge guy like Taylor can make SMW (or even MW before that). He has really skinny legs, Abraham has a much more solid foundation to stand on.

look at the tail of the tape, Abraham's lower section is massive compared to Taylor (who is top heavy)

I don't think people realize how much of a struggle MW was for AA. Tom_Tocca actually picked Miranda in the second fight because AA was so relaxed at the weight he mistook it for apathy. I've said it before. Go back and look at the weigh in pix over the last couple of years with AA. ONLY in the second Miranda fight do you see him smiling and healthy looking.

I just don't see how no one noticed JT's stick thin legs before and maybe thought developing them would help with his punching...

agree with racer above, cringeworthy stuff.

I'm a froch fan so obviously want him to win tomorrow. I'm fully hoping for a JT win also, I just think if taylor loses this one, he's going to lose the will to go on. I still think he has what it takes to get past a few of these guys. A win would boost his confidence so much.

"if hes the same fighter after that loss to froch i really expect taylor to win this handily. "

if so, he'll gas late and get stopped.

but really what it comes down to .. IMO, JT needs a career best performance effort to get the W vs Abraham.

the diet, roadworking .. we'll see if it makes a difference vs Abraham

not counting Taylor out .. but he needs to bring it all 12 rounds.

"Jermain's combination of speed and power will rattle the **** out of AA in the opening rounds. "

unless Taylor can get the stoppage in the early part of the fight rattling Abe early doesn't mean Jack .. he's gotta fight the late rounds well too (if it gets there)
