The fight against Direll wasn't easy but the hardly broke a sweat comment could be true. He is the least urgent looking fighter i've ever watched. People say he was patient knocking out jermaine taylor. Was he ****! he was doddling and dragging his arse and was very lucky.

 

He was posing a bit especially when he had him hurt - but not lucky

hed been grinding taylor down since the 6th of 7th round. Taylor just couldnt handle the pressure his stamina went because he was catching good hard shots and eventually he caved in

 

Awww I agree he was doing very well and do agree he was grinding him down. I also agree he deserved the k.o. However, with 30 seconds to go or whatever it was, and most likely behind on the scorecards. I found his lack of urgency frightening. He should have ran in and swarmed. Taylor was absolutely gassed and shaken. But he lacked urgency so when he did knock him out yes it was a good k.o, but he was lucky as he had left it so close to the line and was slow about it.

 

Had direll pushed for the victory more he would have schooled froch.

 

Dirrell beat him Rabbit punching wrestling and hitting after the referee calls a break are not scoring shots.

 

Whatever your opinion the dirrell fight was pretty close. Andre Dirrell might be the most frustrating fighter to watch in boxing. Inarguably talented but without the mental agility to maximise his potential. Yes, he could have clearly beaten froch in my opinion but failed to do so mainly in part to his negative tactics. Fighting like that against a champion in his backyard is going to see you struggle to get a decision. Sad but true.

 

what headbutt? the ref took a pt for leaning... While froch was rabbit punching and hitting on breaks. Dirrell easily beat Froch. that ***** needs to go somewhere with his bs.
