By easy, I think he meant the Dirrell and Abraham fights weren't physically enduring. I agree with him. Even though he had a tough time with Dirrell and many felt he lost, he was never on the end of punishment like he was against Pascal, Taylor and Kessler.

    Abraham yes

    Dirrell no.

Dirrell had Froch timed and figured out from the first round on. Dirrell also put on one of the best defensive displays the sport has seen recently.

Aside from reducing Carl Froch to what appeared to be a bumbling, drunken Rainman, he had Froch out on his feet in the 10th round.

The number of flush, legal punches Froch landed on Dirrell didn't break double digits.

Depending on your level generosity you could give Froch between 2-4 rounds. But certainly not the fight.

i thought he lost against Dirrell but I see what he was saying, its not like he was in a war or was hurt or anything in that fight. Physically I don't think he did break a a sweat but the fight was real close and Dirrell gave him all sorts of problems, he was just to negative to get the nod away from home.

Froch lost to Dirrell not in the fashion he losy to Ward but it was a loss. Maybe seeing the way he lost to Dirrell and Ward, Bute is so confident in his game. We will see soon who really is Bute.

I thought he lost vs dirrell. If the dirrell fight was so easy for him, why was he hurt in 10 and 11th rounds. When they read the decision he was literally on his knees preying for the victory and considering it was in his hometown, he knew deep down that he lost. Or at least a draw. The point deduction against dirrell was bs, froch hit after the ref broke up, head butted and literally body slammed dirrell out of frustration. Sounds like an easy fight, lol
