I think this fight is going to be a nail biter

Dirrell holds the advantage in speed, but Froch always has made this up against quicker fighters with hard accurate well timed punches

I think it will go twelve and really could go either way, be a split decision or draw, but the slight tip in balance is with Froch due to his power

due to his endurance and power he may wear down Dirrell ala Taylor but for that reason i can see dirrell taking it to froch at the start of the fight but running like mad in the last few rounds. if he does so successfully without getting knockdown from rounds 9-12 he may nick the decision but well see...

You make some very good points, but i think Dirrell is a "confidence" fighter who feeds off his own success. If Froch starts tagging him,and Dirrells punches don't slow Froch down,i see him losing heart and being stopped.

I agree, thats why i think Dirrells best chance is to run most of the fight and pick up the points, but even then, Froch may be good enough to get to him.

Although Dirrell can put some damage on Froch, if he spends too much time going toe to toe Froch will knock him out.

I think Dirrell is pretty darn good, but his experience is limited and his stamina is still one big mystery.I believe Froch's toughness and stamina will serve him well in this one as he wins a decision or a late round ko.

    Agreed.

I think Froch could easily lose the first five rounds, rally in front of the home crowd, and win the fight late. It should be a phenomenal fight, assuming of course that Dirrell is good enough not to start flat out running.

This fight will be desperately one-sided.

Dirrell's got **** footwork - leaden footed and leaves his chin in the air. Froch will end this halfway through.

Regarding Dirrell's Weight problems, what do you guys think. Will he be dead at the wieght or do you buy his talk that it was just an error on his part?

The only way Dirrell wins this on points is if he's putting Froch on his arse at least once; if not you can forget it in England.
My money is on Dirrell inside, by the way.
