dirrell has excellent speed but i have to question his maturity after seeing the oganov fight - thats the only fight ive seen him in. he has to pace himself and be much smarter than that fight to stand a chance in this tournament though.
He is fast, quick, well rounded fighter, not a big puncher and decent chin-but I will admit I haven't seen much of him-only few rounds here and there, so I might not be completely accurate.
Dirrell is a lot slicker than Froch. Froch has no defence and will eat leather early. Thing is, Dirrell is still a prospect with little experience, let's see if he can handle the heat of going 12 rounds for the first time in his career.
Good assesment, had he fought Abraham who has a much better defense I would of said he had no chance. But Froch defense is atrocious, and is iron footed. If Dirrel can sustain Froch pressure, he might have a chance.
I think Froch's footwork is bad and will have a hard time catching Dirrell, we'll see if he can actually do it.
good question..should have by now its delayed for some reason. danish TV is doing kessler re-runs in he meantime.
All i can say is that Dirrell is the US's last hope... because i don't think ward will beat Kessler (i'm predicting Kessler to win the tourney, I know I'm really going out on a limb with this one). Since i'm an American I'm hoping at least one of the Americans can win... although i'd say all of them are underdogs.
