Top man Froch, I think Dirrell's mental state when the going gets tough is a worry.

His best performance and his reputation comes from a DEFEAT, he has done absolutely nothing since Froch beat him well except sit on the floor and cry when he got tapped by AA while on the floor.
Hardly the actions of a warrior.

Pretty much how I feel on the matter. Really don't like Degale. Big mouthed bet welcher. The look on his face when groves got the nod was priceless.

I guess Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sweet P, Mayweather, etc are runners too. Especially since just standing and getting your brains bashed in is so called being a good boxer.

 

They were neutral judges for that fight none being from the UK or the US.

Dirrell did nothing but run, hold, grab, clinch and have a look of panic on his face when Froch got anywhere close to him. You can't score the fight for him because he landed 2 punches throughout doing all that. The guy looked terrified when Froch got anywhere close to him. It was pathetic.

I can score a fight for a guy when he clinches but actually lands punches example: Wlad and Ali

I can score a fight for a guy when he literally runs around the ring refusing to engage but landing the occasional pot shot example Haye when he fought Valuev


What I can't do is score a fight for a guy that does BOTH of these things while his opponent is coming forward and landing the occasional punch too. It just can't be done. See, Dirrell wasn't using the holding or clinching like Lennox or Wlad did to wear an opponent out that is actually a boxing tactic. Dirrell was using it out of absolute fear and NOT wanting to engage.

Can you understand the differences and examples I cited above? This fight had nothing to do with a 'hometown' robbery or anything like that. To hear you explain it you are acting like the Brits trotted out Terry O'Connor as the referee and Dave Parris as the sole judge :roflatsch

 

There is a huge difference between actually using those skillsets and outright running. Dirrell does not posses the skillsets of Ali, SRL, or Sweet Pea so I don't know why you are even saying this and I haven't seen anyone claim those 3 fighters were 'runners'.

Froch is bitter because anyone with average intelligence could see Dirrell won. DeFail will probably get beat easy by Dirrell.
