Everyone beats Glen, everyone who is good that is so thats a horrible example, even when Glen wins he scrapes by, except for rjj, hell besides Jones and Tarver (whom he lost to in the rematch), Johnson hasn't beat anyone, he's a tough fight but that's all he is...

Froch & Ward have two common opponents, Kessler & Abraham, we all know Froch lost a close fight to Mikkel, while Ward dominated Mikkel and both their fights against Arthur were about the same as far as performance, Froch may have just a slight edge in beating him clearer (slight), but thats nothing they both dominated Abraham...

As for Froch having Glen J. Ward has Sakio B. Who IMO is as tough a fight as Johnson, Bika just has'nt had the numerous opportunities that Glen has and has failed to capitalize on, now Dirrell is definitely a better win than Green, but all in all Froch has maybe two better wins than Ward, Taylor and Pascal and those two wins are okay, not great...

Dirrell is more elusive and speedier than Ward. Ward likes dirty boxing and gets in close, I really don't think that's a tactic that will work against Froch because Froch is just as likely to bury his head in the face of Ward in retribution

Kessler is probably too nice and too much of a sportsman for that. Also Kessler was very weird in that fight, in that he wasn't keeping the distance with his jab and he was trying to lead left hook frequently.

Better boxers tend to negate certain things, Ward beat Kessler because he's better than Mikkel, he didn't look weird, Ward's superior defense and skills just gave that illusion...

Oh please, he hit with his head, held all day, tried to ensure Kessler would never be at the range he likes to fight at and did so with a very generous referee.

Kessler also played the part by not working off his jab, not keeping things to basics and allowing Ward to hold him without any retribution.

Watch what happened when Hopkins tried similar tactics against Calzaghe.

It's possible Froch controls the outside game. He's 6'1" with 75" reach while Ward is 6'0" with 71" reach.

    Froch KOs Ward.

Well we can both agree Hopkins and Ward are two different fighters as is Calzaghe & Kessler, so we can't expect either fighters to fight or overcome adversity like the other so that comparison is pointless, now I've watched the Ward vs Kessler fight at least 4 times, the headbutts only started in the second half of the fight...

And there wasn't much holding, surely not enough to warrant a point deduction or DQ, without the head butts Ward still would have won convincingly, you be hard pressed to give Kessler even one round, even the rounds where there were no butts, why didn't he win those rounds, but since there were indeed butts, that left the window open for the excuses, but the fact is Kessler just got his ass kicked..

S.O.B. will have his hands full. Should be a great fight. Hopefully Wards excessive holding and complaining to the ref won't muck it up.

Ward is twice as fast as Froch, more skilled, more disciplined and far more technically sound.

Ward could outbox Froch from any range he wants to.

Ward outboxing Kessler easily from the outside

Please point to the questionable tactics.
