Very few outside Froch's family think he won that fight.

    Nice try though

The Brit TV broadcasters had him losing. I guess they only count when you want them to?

Kessler was definitely the winner of the fight, but it was a helluva fight. I would like to see a rematch sown the line.

a fighter of carl's ego is not going to accept their first loss that well. i'm not surprised carl thought he won, he's a fighter and the reason he's successful is due to him being a bad loser. calzaghe once said he'll never lose because he's such a bad loser that he can't accept losing.

carl lost this fight IMO, and some english people in england also believe he lost.

carl would of won many fans if he just gave kessler full credit for the win, and say he'll be back to fight the best. british people love that attitude, what we don't like is some mouthy twat making excuses of why he lost. carl want's to know why he's not on PPV, well this is one of them reasons.

I'm not sure HOW someone could have Froch winning by more than 2 points. Second time I scored the fight, I had it a draw, but gave Froch both of the first two rounds, neither of which he clearly won. After that, he won four, maybe five rounds for the rest of the fight. He won most of round 8 also, but then Kessler nailed him with a shot that made him do the stanky leg. To even get to a Froch victory, you need to give him every close round, but to get beyond a close win, then you probably need to give him a round he clearly lost.

Good on Carl for not whining too much about it though. He sounded relatively humble in the post-fight interview, or about as humble as I could reasonably expect from Carl Froch.

I suspect the people around him over there, friends and family and a few hangers-on etc, will be telling him they thought he won the fight. And if that's all he's hearing then he's going to believe it. He'll be devastated right now and probably clinging onto the idea that he was the real winner, but I expect over the coming weeks when he's had the chance to see the fight he'll accept that he lost. I hope so anyway because I think it'll do him good.
