Froch: Everyone in England - the TV companies, the press, my family - thought I won

Froch won rounds 5, 10, wasn't very close, you must have been watching Adamek - Arreola.

 

Kesslers body punching slowed Froch down for the later rounds when he normally comes on strong, Kessler was tired but there was feck all Froch could do about it. Kessler slamed that straight right into Froch's body several times landing flush, some serious power in those shots if they were head punches they would have been ko type blows.

 

Kessler could have KO'd Froch in RD1 and all the ****s from the UK would be crying foul

 

your post would make sense if there was a brit invasion on here screaming robbery, but most brits on here including me believe it was a close fight that kessler won.

 

That's a decent take on the fight. I might add that sometimes these fighters with monstrous egos are their own worst enemies in the ring. When that ego gets satisfied by past performances too much they sometimes think they can mail in their effort.

 

This is someone who knows what they are talking about. Just because Al Bernstein says the fight is close doesn't mean it is.

 

Ahhh, stop disgracing yourself Froch. You lost a close but clear decision in an entertaining fight. He should concentrate on winning the rest of the Super 6 matches rather than trying to make excuses.

 

And Tarver had Kessler winning, so what's your point?

I'd say 80-90% of Brits gave it to Kessler.
