Froch fans excuse checklist

    I am actually able to coherently write a sentence but as people with iphones know sometimes the iphone changes your words because it knows what you want to write better than you do.(joking of course in case you dont know what sarcasm is) I hate auto correct. The attack on a person grammar and spelling is so old can you please find another way to feel good about yourself.

    Actually, people make excuses all the time. Froch's loss to Kessler was explained as a bad reaction to volcanic ash cloud and jet lag.

    There were no less than 5 or 6 pre-excuse threads touching on topics ranging from the referee, the judges, head-butting, the venue, violations of the Showtime contract, Virgil Hunter's antics, Kessler's inhumane treatment (and double vision) in "Jokeland", etc.

    As it turned out, none of the pre-excuses panned out. Headbutts were a non-issue, the American referee was scrupulously fair, the judges were favorable to Froch, and so on.

    So I'd say the OP was pretty much on the money.
