What does it say that Froch vs Johsnon seems forgotten in the papers and in the forums? No opinions needed, they will come to fight! Hennessey is so **** at his job.
why aren't Sky featuring him and why has it went quiet all of a sudden from them? especially when there were talks that he maybe getting a deal on Sky. it is criminal that the guy has been overlooked, out of all the current active British fighters, no one, and I do mean no one, has been matched as hard and as tough as Froch has. perhaps he will get his dues when he's no longer fighting, so in the interim it will only be the boxing hardcore that will appreciate him whilst he's still around.
I think its because its still all up in the air as to finalising the date for this fight which seems to have marred the promotion of many of the super 6 fights. When they do finally get it sorted and ready I would hope that Ringside would get Froch on and get him onside
Here is a fact.... Pascal then Taylor then Dirrell then Kessler then Abrahams, next is Johnson! 5 world champions in his last 6 fights! 3 of these fights have been wars, Johnson might be one to!
the two guys are real men and real warriors,i hope close to the fight both us and uk let the public know about a real fight going down!. no venue yet, really annoying, why they cant let it be more equal for froch and more sensible business wise and have froch have uk fight!.
I don't think Johnson is capturing peoples imagination like the previous fights. We can only hope Froch is not thinking the same way because its just as much of a difficult fight.
i wouldn't say forgotten. out of site out of mind. Froch doesn't do enough in terms of profile either he has lost allot of momentum from the Johnson fight though.
Well to be fair we have had the two biggest fights British fans could hope for made in the past month or so with Haye Wlad and Degale Groves so when/if it dies down a bit hopefully Froch will get a look in. This is a massive year for British boxing
Blame Hennesey. He is the original root to why Froch has such a downed profile, and Froch doesn't seem to have realised that.. Plus... Khan/McCloskey... Haye/Klitschko... Cleverly/Braehmer... DeGale/Groves... All big fights. The over-do the Froch/Johnson fight, even though they shouldn't.
I think the point is that Froch should be more than an afterthought. Since Lewis he has been the one British fighter that has welcomed all challenges, gives excitment all the time (maybe Direll apart) and doesn't shirk a challenge. He should be the household name before Haye and Khan.
Id say only the Kess fight was a harder one.Johnson is hard as nails and will be in this to win for sure,he is a tough fight for anyone and has been for years. Froch is a very good fighter and the best we have right now.If he were German the papers over there would be full of his next fight. The sad thing is for Carl that your casual fan,the type who would watch a Hatton fight cant go back and watch the Taylor,Pascal,Kessler etc fight and see it the same as guys who have seen him do the job live.He should be a household name but still is not.Every fight is the one thats going to make him but due to **** poor management it never does.
You answered your own question :nut Carl Froch should be along side David Haye as the stand out performer in British boxing. Fat Mick should be hounded out of boxing. I would suggest that Froch is also a few million quid away from where he should be after the scandalous mismanagement of one of our best boxers for the last 10 years. **** FAT MICK! (no homo)
