Froch has never been down, in the pros or in the amateurs..

What do you make of Taylor putting him on the canvas in the 3rd round?

He was not just knocked down, he was hurt. He didnt get up right away and he for sure had to clear his head.

taylor always had power he just freakin lazy
he dazed pavlik in both fights imo nearly finished him in the first
its not sneaky power, he is a good puncher

also forch chin is over-rated because he has not mixed with the top like he has started to know
    pascal then taylor
he chin is realy strong, but not granite how everyone made it out to be

Eh so what. It doesn't mean he isn't a hard *******. People get knocked down, that's boxing.

Then you should of voted for option two.

    -

It's no big deal, he got caught with a good shot and got put down. Personally I think Taylor has under-rated punching power anyway, I mean Hopkins threw everything at Pavlik and he stayed up, Taylor had him on ***** street.

He got caught with a good shot. It wasn't that big of a deal as he was able to survive to the end of the round and win the fight.

He didnt get caught with one good shot......he had a combo landed on his face. He was also hit with hard shots prior to him getting knocked down. He was getting hit with good shots all night. He has a great chin and heart. But it aint like he was boxing beautifully and just "got caught" He was getting hit hard and flush the whole round.

I think the fact he didn't get up straightaway tells you that he wasn't actually hurt and his head was clear.

When a fighter is hurt and dazed, they tend to jump straight back up.

When they're just put down and not hurt, they'll be sensible and take the 8.

Froch got put down, looked ok, turned to his corner who told him to take the 8 and then got up comfortably.

The better class of fighter Forch fights this will continue to happen unless he improves on his defense ..All that fighting with his hands low will end up getting him ko ed and he won't get back up ..

a good shot is a good shot but i dont think froch was hurt. It was more of a flash knockdown.

It was not a flash knock down. Pavlik against Zuniga was a flash knock down. Pavlik stood and came back exactly where he was before. Froch was hurt and by more than one shot. If Taylor was a good finisher, Froch would have been out for good. Still, he has a good chin but nos as good as his fans thought. So, if I could have voted for 2 choices, I would have split between his chin was a little overrated and he received a couple of good shots, that can happen in boxing. of course, when you have a bad defense, it can happen more often, especially when you face the top boxers.

its obvious you never even saw the fight isnt it really?

    its ok to hate froch.

its not ok, to invent things that never happend.

he ducked straight onto a power shot when he was square on and tumbled backwards and his trainer told him to stay for 8.

his chin is mega as you could see from his eyes, they were not even remotely glassy.
