Dont be surprised to see Froch sufferreing his first K.O. loss. Kessler is an all around technician and better in all departments than froch . When froch opens up he gets wreckless and swings for the fences thats when Kessler may pop him. I predict Kessler to take this either unanimously or by TKO around 10/11 . I see frochs on Bambi legs more than once. (I know Froch has a solid chin but Kessler can crack!) no hating on Froch btw.
You might not be hating on him but you still have absolutely nothing to base your assertion on. Froch is coming off two stoppages and you could argue that his defence will be marginally tighter than during the first fight. Which,BTW, he threw away rather than was dominated.
I rate froch highly But I do think Kessler is a different Kettle of fish I admit I may be totally wrong .:bbb
I'm finding it hard to pick a winner. I think Kessler is possibly on the slide and certainly has more miles on the clock. That being said hes still the better technician. I think Froch is a better boxer than he sometimes gets credit for, but between the two of them hes pretty crude. The first fight wasnt the classic most people seem to think. This time the playing field is a little more level so could be pretty dam good. I think it could go points either way but still havent decided for who yet. I'll have a think about it and make my pick closer to the time lol.
I will be very surprised, if Froch doesn't wins this return match. Kessler is nowhere near as good as he used to be, and I don't expect Froch to make the same mistake twice (letting Kessler dictate the fight). I see a much more aggressive Froch take control early... and I wouldn't be surprised if he stops the Dane in about 8-9 rounds.
Ian Darke said last week that the crowd really lifted Kessler in the second half of the fight but anyone could see that Froch fought like Bernard v Taylor in that he took too long to get going and when he really stepped up,it gave Kessler problems. I rate Kessler very highly but Froch is not going to lose at home IMO.
Thought Kessler won fair and square in fight one, this time i feel like there will be a stoppage as both have looked very destructive I think Kessler is just better, faster straighter punches and a tighter defense Froch's determination can make him able to overcome Kessler's advantages fight for me is close but a slight edge to KEssler
This is also what I used to think... But then I really thought hard about it.. But Froch can't dictate this fight.. Kessler can catch Froch easy if Forch walks forward.. Nobody has ever been able to make Kessler walk backwards. Calzaghe tryed for a few rounds and ended with some nasty counterpunches..
Kessler getting put down by Green let me know all I need to know about him, I think his punch resistance has falled dramaticlly. I think Ward broke his fighting spirit and his last hurrah was against Froch, he is not the same fighter he was when they last fought and Froch is at the same level or better so I see this being a Froch mid round stoppage.
I think Kessler is going to surprise a lot of people, Froch is being overrated for his win over Bute...
