Froch getting pissed off at Hennessy ??

No disrespect to Froch but he should have been asking these questions a while ago when he was having exciting world title fights but then couldn't get a decent UK TV deal when he went in the Super 6.

 

Mentioned this in another post, seems Froch, who has always stood by Mick never said a bad word about him always praised him, is starting to get annoyed with how he handles him, hmmm.

 

If that's true then he has every right to be pissed off. Hennessy just can't swim with the big fish at world level.

 

Same can be said of Froch.

 

To be fair, I think Carl has already proven that he can.

 

To a degree, yeah.

His record at world level is a mixed bag. His performance against Pascal being the standout, but how good is Pascal? Then he got systematically outboxed by Taylor, but showed a lot of heart and determination to pull that out of the fire, got a gift against Dirrel and looked shockingly bad in the process, then lost to Kessler.

If you were giving Carl a grade for these four fights, what would it be?

 

About bloody time.

Always felt that it would probably take a loss on his record before Froch got real about fat Mick's ineptitude.

 

Pascal A+ ... a brilliant fight against a guy who has proven himself at a higher weight to be world level ...

Taylor B ... outboxed for a good % of the fight before the late stoppage but lets remember this was his first defence in Taylors hometown against a proven star in Taylor who was not shot when he took this fight IMO !! ... Froch looked nervous early doors but once he sniffed a chance he didnt miss out ..

Dirrell C- ... a 50/50 call but i watched the fight a few times and the more i watched it the more convinced i had froch winning (initially i had Dirrell winning when watching live) . Dirrell could prove to be a real world star and i fancy the guy to land the super six . Froch got frustrated by the running that night so there were excuses for a poor performance .

Kessler B- ... Once again another great fight .. Froch didnt pick up and push on when i thought he may in this fight but credit to Kessler who knew this fight was tailor made for his stand up one two style.. and Kessler is a great fighter so once again give Carl credit for going into the guys backyard to fight .

I like Froch hes a bit like the old Wimbledon sides of the late 80's early 90's ... rough , tough and no one likes playing them but not the most stylish of side. But what you will be guaranteed is 110% everytime and a never say die attitude :good ... that you cannot coach as thats in bred...

 

I'd give him the credit for putting himself in the firing line.

Not that fighters should get too much credit for such things, but the way so many prefer to just hide away and fight lesser opponents, his willingness is a refreshing change.

Go to 3-1 in four fights at world level to date is creditable, in my opinion.

It's a results business after all.

Even if you scored it for Dirrell it can only of been by a round or two.

 

I think you're overrating the Pascal win tbh...A+ would be a perfect performance, it was a great fight, but it wasn't a punch perfect performance, I'd give it an A- on the basis that Pascal isn't THAT good.

 

i really cant see froch beating abraham or even lasting the distance, unless froch has home advantage tips the first 6 rounds and then gets onhis bike the last 6, his heart will rule his head in the long run as he likes a tear up, froch will get stopped around the 9th.

 

We're still to see proof of Abraham's power at super middle.

He only stopped Taylor very late, and was on his way to a loss against Dirrell.
