I think it's probably a bit of a self confidence issue, he doubts himself after the kessler fight and he won't get any favours like the dirrell fight outside of the UK.

So sounding more and more like, as suspected, what Sauerland said was correct and what Hennessy said was utter bollocks.

 

Me too, If he had been with Warren he would have got to world level a lot sooner.

As it is now he is trying to cram in too many fights in a short space of time and I think it showed against Kessler.
I mean fighting Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler inside 16 months is a tough ask for anyone.

I do fear that 48 rounds against top class opposition in such a short period may finish him off, hope i'm wrong.

Yeah, it's a good point but lets hope he can see the light now and leave that pork pie addict and go with a promoter that will give him what he deserves (if that's even possible, due to him still being in the super six)

 

It's too little, too late I'm afraid. The alarm bells should have been ringing when his fight with Jermain Taylor did'nt even get on TV.

A British WBC Super Middleweight Champion, defending his belt against a household name in Jermain Taylor and fat lad could'nt even get it on tv!! Frank Warren must have been pissing himself.

In hindsight, Froch should have walked out on Hennessey after that fight.

 

Of course it finishes some fighters. Thats how boxing is meant to work, survival of the fittest. You think older fighters like Froch should just be wrapped in cotton wool and given a pass?

Besides, Froch may be old but he is still up and coming in many ways. His career didn't get going till he hit 30.
