ouma wasn't a journeyman....but at that point he was gone....to even call him a gatekeeper at that point would have been a stretch

for anyone to try and talk him up at the point ggg fought him is dumb.....but yes at one time ouma was more than journeyman

 

I don know,man! Sure,he was past his prime,but......on the other hand ...just two years earlier he lost a fight to Rosado which could have gone either way.One year earlier Martisrosyan had to go the full route with the African.And just a couple of months earlier he beat a certain Joey Gilbert who was 20-2 at that time.I havent seen the Gilbert and Martirosyan fights so that I cant really comment on them.
Nontheless,a shot journeyman would hardly been able to go the full route with Martirosyan or beat Gilbert or have a very close fight with Rosado..
Ouma ,that version of Ouma,is certainly not that impressive a scalp.I give you that!
