He fought Kesslers fight instead of taking a page from Andre Wards book. Ward dominated Kessler by outboxing him instead of trying to outfight him. I think he learned the boxing lesson he got from Direl to. He showed a whole new dimension against Abraham and I think hed fight Kessler differently now. Lets see what happens against Johnson but i think we are seeing a much smarter Froch now.

I agree. Compare this Froch to the one who fought Pascal or Taylor. A completely different skill level. Props to Carl for putting in the hard work.

He's started listening to his trainer. Said it's time to start boxing as opposed to fighting.

Froch was robbed in the fight with Kessler! He should have six points. Froch should also refuse to fight Ward in Ward's home town with Ward's personal referee and judges!

I had Kessler quite clearly in a close fight. And i'm a Froch fan.

Froch done well on Saturday night, but let’s be real, Abraham playing the role of an idle punch-bag kind of enhanced his performance.

But that aside, he’s gained more respect from me now. I expect him to win spectacularly against Johnson (who I still think is less effective at 168 and go onto face his biggest test – Andre Ward.

Yeah he seemed to learn from his last fight and box effectively to a good game plan. He took his corner's advice to circle away from the right hand - though he did lapse and circle towards it at times - and to keep popping the jab out so AA couldn't get set. Impressively disciplined fight from Froch, hopefully he beats Johnson well and we see him in against Ward

Froch lost nearly every rd except the last vs Taylor, poor performance and a lucky win. Dirrell clearly beat him and froch got a hometown decision. Kessler beat him on points, cleanly. Froch then shows a real good performance vs a human punching bag.

Now compare this to ward who has barely lost a rd in his last 4 fights, bika, kessler, green and pudwill.

Now you can see why Ward is a p4p fighter and Froch is not.

Wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start, so I'll just say - wrong.

And hey, thank GOD Ward managed to avoid losing a round to Pudwill! I don't think I'd have been able to live with myself if that horror had occured. What an achievement!

Thought he lost 4 to Bika, too. Scrappy, ugly fight.

Wards ONLY good win is Kessler and unless Ward agrees to neutral ground Carl should walk away , theres no way I'd fight a guy like that at home , no chance

    Beat Taylor
    Beat Dirrel
    Beat Abraham
    Lost to Kessler

Take Kessler out of Wards list and its ****ing B level at best !
