the definition of boxing is to hit and not be hit numb nuts not stand and trade, rocky is not real boxing you tool and another thing never call me son again and I think you will find every trainer will say froch is a good pro training but will agree his defensive skills are ****e and as quoted boxing is about not being hit every trainer would laugh at you if you think froch has a good defense

If you don't like Froch, fair enough, if you don't like his style that's fair enough.

I can accept anybody's opinion on Froch as a person or fighter, you're entitled to it but to question the mans bottle or courage is a complete joke.

Looking at the Degale/Dirrell fight I honestly think Froch would stop Degale pretty routinely in ten or eleven.

Hope he doesn't fight GGG as though he could win he really has got too many miles on the clock for that type of fight.

I hope your right and he does fight again it just seems strange he has gone from a complete pro, hungry for success before groves to someone who seems to be taking an age to decide his future, maybe it is all about money and he wants to be remembered for that punch fair play I guess!

Lost his bottle, how old is he and how many classic battles has he been in? I don't think a guy like Froch can be blamed for thinking retirement is a healthy option after a career in a merciless sport like this, you can't expect him to keep going in there until he's 40, he doesn't really have the style to reach a favourable end if he goes past his own physical and mental limits. I just can't accept a fighter like Froch has 'lost his bottle' at approaching 40 if he retires not fighting DeGale or Golovkin.

Bottom line, nobody was more gutted that Mikkel Kessler called it a day than Carl Froch. That, other than fatty Chavez, was the only easy fight left for Carl and it disappeared. All other fights mentioned could end in a bad defeat for Carl.

lets not forget that the guy is absolutely loaded at the moment and he is still earning without being in the ring ... that just might have something to do with it ..maybe just ... The money he got for Groves 2 leaves him and his children and childrens children set for life. Must be one of the most humbling feelings to have, lost the bottle ? na i dont think he ever will .. lost the appetite and hunger living the high life is a lot more realistic IMO

Par for the course on here now. Every boxer is either ****, arrogant, over-rated or a ducker.

Any boxer that can win a world title in the ametuers is a good "boxer" the boxing your referring to "to hit without getting hit" is a style within boxing. Some boxers actually prefer to be open and encourage the opposition to hit them in order to land on them. I suppose when Golovkin knocked down Geale after taking a shot you sat there shaling your head thinkin what a poor boxer he is ?!

You mean the punch that KTFO Groves.

What are you going to come out with next ?

If you had half a clue about boxing, you'd appreciate what a well timed, well placed, peach of a shot that was.

But being the halfwit you clearly are, just keeping telling yourself he got lucky.
