Froch is clutching at straws. He has to hire security guards to try bully and intimidate Groves at the weigh-in. Shameful. Groves in much better shape for this fight, was a bit flabby for the first! :good
Actually no Groves was the one with hired security.... One set of guys in Polo's (event security) then guys in black suits who surrounded Groves (Hired security) security guards don't intimidate a world class 170 pound boxer lol....They'd get laid out. The only threatening security man there was the event guy who was like 6'8"...but Anthony Joshua had his ass covered XD
The security that was ONLY on Froch's side of the stage all uniformed? The ones that were being all matey with Froch's team and the thuggish black guy that tried to fight Groves? That was Groves' security?
Anyone know why one the Froch security team was mouthing off at one of the guys on the groves security team, i heard him say he should meet him outside and went over to them a couple of times.
It was event security. NOT FROCH SECURITY. Some not very bright people here ey? I'm guessing Groves hired security were stepping out of line...they are not in charge of the safety of people at the event...they are in charge of protecting Groves simple as that. They shouldn't be anywhere else but around Groves.
You realize thats all for show right? They are trained professional fighters who are hyping an event.
So far all sizzle and no steak.Fight can't possibly live up to expectations.Great promoting by Matchroom though.Got to give Fast Car his props on this one.:thumbsup
You look like the dimmest person here, that team of security was there for Carl Froch and the team Groves hired were there for him. Its common practice in boxing for the fighters to hire their own team of security for their fights and so both teams are in charge of security for the event/fighters (even if eddie didn't hire them), do some research.
No idea, but that little annoying ****er down front was ready to quash any push and shove that may have let the event live up to the hype..
But Groves definitely won the staredown. Which is strange considering how Froch won the face off interview. Froch looked nervous as hell, he was shacking and couldn't force himself to look Groves in the eyes.
