You just proved my point, Lacy and Kessler are good wins, the others are solid. But that is 7 fighters out of how many title fights? 22 or something?

The thing with Froch which I like is that there won't be any questions marks about how good he was when he retires; we will know exactly how good/bad he was because he will have tested himself against the best/lots of tough competition. Calzaghe could be one of the very best but there just isn't the proof in his resume to have a definitive answer.

There are a few more wins against guys who were ranked inside the top 10-15, but joe never fought a guy outside the top 50 once he won the WBO. They just weren't poster on the wall household names that only limited fans like you know of. Tell me this nostredamous, how many more credible wins did B-hop have in his 20 defenses of the IBF 160 lbs title
than did joe of his title at 168. Exactly, and to further blast your other comment in your previous post. What other BIG fight could joe have made
other than hopkins between let's say 2001-2005 before he fought Lacy?
    Hmmmmm?
    You can't

But please try, i love owning you!

Let's face it, Froch was losing to Taylor, and he lost to Dirrell.

I don't think it'll be long before Froch dreams of being on Celebrity Big Brother or similar. Has already appeared on the Weakest Link, where Frank Bruno did better ffs!

Why are you talking about Hopkins when we are talking about Calzaghe's cowardly acts. His Dad had to beg him not to pull out of the Lacy fight.
Warren wanted him to fight Pavlik but Joe quit Warren to fight Roy Jones.

You talk names, are you serious? Tucker Pudwill, Will McIntyre? A load more eastern European bums with decent looking records on the outside but if you look they had built records beating cab drivers.

Joe was a 9/10 fighter fighting 2/10 fighters (for the majority of his career). He is no different to A-Force Audley Harrison (a 5/10 fighter who fought 0/10 fighters).

So it takes him like 40 fights to fight a live young fighter in Lacy, and he schools him.. what does he do next? Fights two tomato cans in Bika and Manfredo? Utterly ridiculous. Most of his fights were the equivelent of Mayweather fighting Matt Hatton.

the way people wax lyrical about calzaghe as some prodigy with a lack of confidence is utter ****.

he has looked decidely crap many a time. Reid beat him, he ate right hands all night - even sakio of shitto bika had him going. Hopkins took away and nullified everything he had and all joe could do was the breast-stroke for 12 rounds.

He looked great against lacy but fooking hell eve manfredo took a draw off lacy on one judges scorecard.

people say 'if froch cant handle dirrell..forget calzaghe' but thats bollocks. at the end of the day dirrell was 18 years younger than Hopkins and 15 years younger than jones.

dirrell was 9 years old when Jones won his first world title !!!!!!!!!!!!

calz is a cherry picker, obsessed with his record and his ego. spinless turd, giving it the big talk but wouldnt take a fight with froch would he? *****.

this man speaks the truth, you should listen.

You evaded my question for a reason. You don't know the answer.
Say, how did you get on ESB without passing the quiz? Did they stop that?
    Damnit!!

Froch fights everyone he can. I respect that end. Calzaghe, however, would outbox him beyond any question, in my eyes.

    Names or gtfo.

Seriously sir, there's no need for all this Joe-hate. The guy did no worse than Hopkins did when he was a title-holder, the only difference is that Hopkins kept fighting and Joe retired early. Hopkins made his name fighting old guys and small guys. Calzaghe fought his mandatories while chasing unifications the whole time. It isn't his fault everyone was afraid of him...

You name people who Calzaghe should have fought, and I bet 9 out of 10 times i can give you a legit reason the fight didn't happen.

    Ready, go.
