http://www.rds.ca/combat/boxe/si-c-était-à-refaire-1.2170829 He says that Froch has more power but is less accurate with his shots. Quite surprised he said such a thing considering Kovalev stopped him but.... thoughts ?
Well they hate each other, Kovalev has been talking sh!t about him, and fighters never give credit to the fighters that knock them out. On the other hand, it could be true, not the weirdest thing i've ever heard.
I for sure wouldn't want to be hit by either of them to find if he's telling the truth or if he's telling porkies.:yikes But, bare in mind, Pascal may well have felt weaker in himself v. Froch if he was draining himself to 168 (he only fought there once again), so it's possible he felt he was absorbing Kovalev's shot's better.
Pascal and Froch are good friends and Pascal was just smashed around by Kov in front of his family and countrymen so I'm not overly shocked he had a dig at Kov and dropped Carl's name in there but Froch never did that to Pascal. Pascal was brave and showed some bottle Saturday night but just sounds bitter now.
This is such bull**** I just rewatched Froch Pascal the other day in preparation for Kovalev Pascal, they were hitting each other with flush bombs the whole fight they rocking each other left and right throughout the match. Yet everytime Kov hit him flush he was punch drunk and out on his feet, Jean is looking like a real sour grapes b****.
Most likely, Froch and Pascal seem to be on good terms still, whereas Krusher mocked him before stopping him. At least he's not going mental and saying Hopkins, Dawson and Bute hit harder too.
I wonder how fast Andre Dirrell would run if he was in the ring with the Krusher.:bolt This content is protected :bolt This content is protected :bolt :bolt This content is protected This content is protected
I respect his opinion. I would have thought Kovalev hits a little harder but Pascal could be right. Also sometimes it's actually difficult to tell who hit you harder. Sometimes you don't really notice it at the time yourself but people from the outside looking in can see how hard you're being hit. Maybe after hearing this Andre Ward and Adonis Stevenson might be a bit less reluctant to fight Sergey, I doubt it though.
If you was told these two fights happen in the next 12 months and both go 12 rounds, who do you think covers a greater distance: Dirrell against Kovalev, or Lara against Golovkin? :think
