Froch hits out @ ESB's comments!*

That article or something similar was on the ESB main page last week .

 

I cant view the story, could you copy it on to here please? Also, I remember Steve Bunce mentioning ESB not so long ago.

CARL FROCH has blasted Jermain Taylor for claiming he is dodging him.

Team Taylor argue that the new WBC super-middleweight champ will be sidelined until June with a rib injury.
But Froch has told Taylor and Co to stop making excuses and get their facts straight.

The Cobra blasted: "Some guy from a website I'd never heard about before has written that I'm injured until June and won't be able to defend my title until then.

"This guy said that there's nothing wrong with my 'flapping jaws' but that I have a rib injury.

"In my opinion the only people flapping are Taylor and his team by trying to find another way to duck out of the fight.

"This character needs to check his facts before writing a story.
"Maybe he's only new to the game or something but he needs to start learning quickly.

"Where did he get this nonsense from about me being sidelined until June? It's complete bull****.

"If he'd bothered to call my promoter, Mick Hennessy, he'd know that I've no injury worries now and I'm ready, willing and able to defend my title against Taylor."

Taylor is currently Froch's mandatory challenger for the WBC crown.
And the Nottingham fighter is confident a showdown with the American will be a classic — providing Taylor stops running.

Froch, 31, said: "He declined the opportunity to contest the vacant WBC title with me and instead fought Jeff Lacy in a final eliminator for that same belt.

"Now this mysterious rumour is being spread in America that I'm injured and out until June, so he's looking at other options.

"The only person that's going to be out is Taylor after I've smoked his boots.

"I'm going to be putting the heat on Taylor so hard that he's going to have to fight for his life.

"I've proved I'll get into the trenches and go to war to entertain the fans. If Taylor's willing to do the same, I'm sure it will be the fight of 2009.

"Purse bids have been called for Friday week so we'll see what they're made of then.

"But I can guarantee I'll be ready to defend my title against Taylor within 90 days of the purse bid, as per the WBC rules."

No worries. I'm a fan but he is ****ing irritating. He seemed really ruffled by the rumours. Now people are just going to continue to make **** up and get under his skin lol, he's cannon fodder now that he reacted like that and he's just provided people with more ammunition.

I started to dislike Froch immensely at the Pascal weigh-in. He wouldnt look Pascal in the eye and kept trying to whisper in his ear to avoid looking straight at him. He looked extremely uncomfortable.

Also when he starting ringing Calzaghe on the tv asking for a fight... pure desperation.
