That'll be the other way around. Taylor is absolutely bricking it and doing anything he can to avoid the fight. Either he or his promoter has decided that Froch is all wrong for him. Initially I thought he would have had the edge but he's given Froch such a psychological advantage now he's almost certain to get ko'd imo if they ever do meet.

 

He's not good enough, he's demanding loadsa money coz he thinks he's God, I dont think Taylor is avoiding him. He fought Hopkins twice, I doubt he's scared of Froch.

 

I honestly think he is, I'll happily stand corrected if it turns out to be wrong. I'm thinking that Pavlik has made him shot shy and he's weary of Froch's power.

He is really PO'd because he is finding that being a belt holder is not the same thing as being a champion. I still look for him to think he has an advantage and push the Taylor fight to purse bid thinking Taylor will cave for the belt. Taylor isn't going to oblige him in a big pay day unless there is one for himself. I don't think the money is there for this fight.

 

DiBella is saying that Taylor wants the fight but Froch is demanding too much, and that because HBO dont want it the money that he wants just isnt there. DiBella's article is in a previous thread, worth a read.

 

The normal 70-30 split for champion/challenger. Another excuse for Taylor and camp to drum out. He had a chance to fight for the vacant title and knocked it back so why should Froch now accept anything other than the standard split?

 

The Froch I saw against Pascal is so fundamentally flawed he could be the first person Taylor manages to stop in a very long time.

Read some of my previous posts. You really don't seem to know anything about the economics involved. The belt means less to Taylor than a few million more dollars in his pocket. Froch couldn't draw flies outside Nottingham.
