maybe swap bhop and froch, kinda really depends if bhop is goin to struggle to come down to 168 from 175 altough he fought pavlik at 170 he isnt getting any younger and may struggle to make weight hence gas out at the end just a thought

    Calzaghe
    B-Hop
    Kessler
    Pavlik
    Froch
    Taylor

Although I think Taylor could beat Froch if they ever rematch.

There were a couple of close rounds. I wouldn't argue with anyone having the fight 105-103 to Taylor going into the last round.

So, even if Taylor hadn't been stopped, with the knockdown it could have ended 113-113.

And then it really would have been down to opinion who is better of the two.

Taylor does have more skill, and more slickness, but let's face it, another two facets of being a boxer which are very important are stamina over the 12 rounds, and chin.

I don't think Taylor's chin is bad, it's pretty good, but Froch has the better one. Froch also has the better stamina over 12 rounds.

And who knows, if the referee hadn't stepped in, Taylor looked like he was ready to go down again, so the last round could easily have been a 10-7 to Froch.

So, without the stoppage, it's a close call between Taylor and Froch who is the better. However, it is academic, because Froch did get the TKO - he has to be ranked higher.

Not surprising -- most Brits still hate Pavlik over the fact that Calzaghe ducked him, and Kelly talked openly about it. Very convoluted logic, but it seems to work for that crowd. Pavlik/Froch would go down a lot like Pavlik/Miranda, but Froch is bigger and has a better chin than Edison, so he'd take a worse beating.

    18th September 2008, Calzaghe:
"Pavlik is just trying to make a name for himself on my back.
I tried to get a fight with him twice before. We approached him immediately after I beat Jeff Lacy in 2006 but he declined.
He fought and beat Jermain Taylor instead and immediately had a rematch with him to dodge me again.
It's easy to come out of the woodwork and mouth off when you've already signed to fight somebody else."
