Some very valid points you made there. I actually grew up around 10 miles away from where Froch comes from, but now I live in Thailand.

Even though there is no social state in Thailand, growing up in the cities and mining towns of Northern England is much rougher than what I see in a so-called 3rd world nation such as Thailand. Sometimes I think it's more about mentality than it is money or lack of.

As far as I can tell it means "God with us". But my German isn't that good so I could be wrong.

Good points and I agree you have to give the winner of Bute vs Miranda huge props. Bute´s second win against Andrade was impressive, but he has to get past Miranda, before i see him as a serious threat to Ward, Abraham, Dirrell, Froch. If Bute wins it will be interesting to see who he wants to fight next coz there arent so many to choose from...it would not surprise me to see him against Hopkins who already called him out. If he looses im sure we will see a rematch.

Wow interesting stuff , means the belt I have came from a Wermacht soldier.

Knowing that gives it even more life ( and to be honest makes it even creepier ! )

Yeah it is a piece of living history. The belt might have come of of a Wermacht soldier, a Luftwaffe soldier, Hitler Jugend or a police officer:

The one I have still has the leather belt attached ( the belt has three notches cut in it too ! )

A co-worker of mine, who is a collector of WW2 memorabilia, tells me that the buckle with the original leather belt is worth aproximately 260-300£. Depending on production time and condition of course.

Well in all likelihood it means that the soldier who owned the belt has three kills on his conscience.

    Rough background my ass !!

He should feel like a **** for talking like that on camera, knowing it will go around the world......

Nottingham is nothing in comparison to some places in the world, like places in America and South America......

Wow , its pretty perfect but to be honest its a connection to a dead relative so I wouldnt want to sell it , and if I'm honest I dont know that i would like to profit from it , i dont think that would be too good for the karma !

Its also good to remind one self of our History.
