Just read the whole thing, utterly, utterly embarrassing.

Under the world 'delusional' in the dictionary, Carl's picture would go perfectly.

froch needs to take one of two options
    a. retire
    b give groves a rematch

I really hope groves is kept as froch mandatory so this will give froch nowhere to go after he makes one voluntary

Nothing is catching up with him... he has been a fraud since day dot.

Horrible world when people like this get to call the shots.

GG crew all knew right at the end there would be no rematch... mccracken more or less admitted it on the night.

Why get in the ring to have the granny smashed out of you again?

He has always been delusional but he seems to be getting worse with every punch he takes.

Can't call yourself a warrior, then chicken out of a rematch and fight someone else instead. Rematch or retire.

Carl needs to take a rematch with Groves otherwise his legacy will always be 'Great figher but You got lucky a Groves and didn't give him a rematch'. Carl is a good fighter and I will still back him to win the rematch. I still even think he would have won that fight anyway as he was coming on strong but we will never know now. Carl just needs to realise that if he beats Groves in a rematch then everyone will shut up and his legacy will be 'Great fighter never ducked anyone' and he will be remembers for having one of the best chins in super-middleweight history. He may even get his fight with Ward which would be a great fight.

Froch is saying that he gave Groves the chance to fight him- Groves was the mandatory challenger for the IBF strap right?

He now admits that his preparations were very hampered- by what? A volcanic ash cloud.

If he does box on he needs PR training. Yesterday.

Froch has a great resume and is a great champion but this just shows he is worried by Groves cause if he wasn't he would of taken the rematch.

    What utter Crap he talks.

I wasnt right for that fight, i dont want to make excuses!

My team and my doctor know what is wrong!

GG didnt fight a 100% CF that night LOL

    You couldnt make it up.

But if that how he feels, and he wasnt right, and most of his team and Doctor knew.

Then Next time he will prepare correctly, and be 100% and he should not be concerned in fighting St George again, as he will have eradicated the previous problem.

    Utter Bullcrapping Banker.

    Legacy my ass.

If he doesnt fight The Saint again, he will go down as a coward who was afraid of getting beat, instead of being remembered as a great fighter who went out on his shield.

As Enzo said in todays paper, just shows you that if he fought Joe, it would have been a lamb to the slaughter.

IMO he is taking the easy way out now, and if he takes a voluntary, it certainly will be against someone he knows he can beat, and to my mind that strikes of being a coward anyway, especially if he refuses to fight the Saint again.

Firstly I would love to see a rematch, but in all fairness he doesn't have to do anything unless he wants to just like the rest us. The fight was only 3 days ago I think we all know the rematch will be left to simmer for while. I think groves and froch will both fight again before a rematch is signed. IMO froch wins the rematch he knows he had groves once all ready and George knows he couldn't get the job finished when it counted.

    frauds the lot of them

the beauty of this all, his true character is there for all to see, even long term fans of his are turning.

    legacy tarnishing by the day

Point is though... he is now only in it for the money... there is no bigger money fight than this one.

Ward won't have any of it... so who else does he have?

Kessler 3? PPV numbers would not be a patch on Groves 2.

When all is said and done, and the hearn mobsters get involved, there is only one solution.

Only Frock can kill it, and if he does its blatant bottle job.

That line really winds me up. Froch didn't give Groves anything. George gained the shot via fighting his way through the rankings to earn mandatory status - just as Froch earned his mandatory title shot which took place against Pascal. Where is the difference here? Calzaghe had bigger fish to fry. There was absolutely zero value for him in a Froch fight at the time. Against Groves though Carl had SBO on his side and he likely have made a career high purse from that fight. That he wasn't involved in big title fights at an earlier stage of his career is down to his promotional trajectory, but Groves is hardly a rookie anymore and earned his shot...just like Carl did.

    Carl is in la-la land.
