Froch: "I don't really feel I lost to Ward"

I can see what Froch is trying to say, but its comes across as bitter and I dont think he is.

Lose in a hard close fight to Kessler was much more demanding than the wide and clear loss to Ward.

Ward never hurt him is probably the point he is trying to make , where as Kessler really hurt him to the body.

Still Froch didnt win a second in any round against Ward and he needs to remember that.

 

And true to form,ESB didn't let me down.

He's said before that the only time he was beat convincingly was by one of the best fighters of his generation,so even if he did say that (and I'm not sure he did,given some of the reactions you used to get from some Bute fans before their fight was even announced) it would be purely to get a reaction like the ones you're seeing here.

Froch could land more fish with one line than Sig Hanson could in 10 years.
Come to think of it,Deadliest Catch has never been the same since the late, great Phil Harris went to the great Chippy in the Sky/Sea.
They could put Froch in,and call his boat "The Wry Smile" but Froch is a bit too tough for the Bering Sea if you ask me.

 

for someone like froch fighting ward must be so annoying.

Ward has the ability of always been in range for a tear up, but you can never get your shots off against him.

Ward doesn't even run, he's alway in range but so tough to hit.

Its very impressive.

I can see why Ward dislikes him and Kessler. They bring his name up so much but they just don't want to fight at all.

Froch/Kessler are afraid of Ward. That much is evident.

They're full of excuses and bull****.

 

This is not that far off Manny Pacquiao saying he doesn't feel he lost to JMM last time out.

 

watched this fight last night to score it as i hadn't done that when i watched it live. and to my surprise, i had Ward winning by only two points (the same as two of the scorecards)

i felt on the night that Ward won it clearly because of his mauling and cheating, and Froch not looking at his best because of those tactics. but Ward doesn't actually land that many punches through out the 12 rounds. most of it is his purposeful wrestling. and when Ward did this on the inside, Froch gave as good as he got most of the time where scoring is concerned.

THIS IS NO WHERE NEAR TO BEING A SCHOOLING! it just looks like Ward is on top most of the time because of his holding. but there aren't that many scoring shots when he's doing that. and as i've said, Froch gave as good as he got most of the time.

Ward looks like he's terrified to have distance between him and his opponent. you can clearly see how uncomfortable he is in those situations. it's like he has some sort of mental frailty. also, he isn't even that skilled overall. he does the same things again and again. WHERE IS THE ACTUAL BOXING ABILITY? he doesn't box! he just gets inside and mauls.

if the ref had of done his job properly, and taken points off for the continuous holding and mauling, Froch could of won that fight. had the ref threatened a DQ if he continued with the illegal tactics, and made them fight clean, Froch could of caught Ward and stopped him. Ward does not like distance between him and his opponent. he's far too scared.

i'm going to watch the fight again during the week to count how many scoring shots are landed by both. i'm sure you're going to be surprised. IT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT!

i know some idiots are going to jump all over this post, but i ask you, watch the fight again. it actually is close. i'm surprised as well.

and make sure the quality of picture is good. no bogus YT ****.

Yeah, ok. The funny thing is, I had Froch winning the Kessler fight. I think he knows he can beat Kessler and knows there is no way he will ever beat Ward. I thought he lost the Dirrell fight very close, but I hate Dirrell, so **** him!

 

While I dont know if he actually said this, the guys IS unbelievably arrogant,in a bitter kind of way.

Hes either arrogant or delusional.

I lost count of the times he talked about how he'd KO Ward and that there was no way Ward would stand up to his power.

Hes just a dislikeable guy to be honest.

Maybe its an act for interviews...I hope so!
