I love the way F-w-a-n-k quotes the "1.000.000" all the time,i remember him saying he offered McCullough $1.000.000 to fight naz,yet nobody knew of it,even though they were surrounded by boxing fans and the press.
He sounds like doctor Evil :rofl:rofl:rofl

Clev would beat Froch. Styles make fights and believe me Clev is Froch's kryptonite.

What makes people think Froch is going to beat Clev? Clev has a great chin and he will outwork Froch and steal the rounds late on.

    Collins-Calzaghe
    Calzaghe-Froch
    Froch-Cleverly

There are quite a few parallels:

    - Older established champion in latter stages of his career
    - Older fighter chasing career defining fight against big name American
    - Younger fighter seeking to launch career over established champion
    - Older fighter ignores younger fighter, who wins vacant title instead

(obviously the last point has already happened with Cleverly)

When name champions fight only twice a year, and up and comers just have to stay busy and play the ratings game to get a title shot, these kind of situations are inevitable.

  7. And just why do you want to see Clev get a 'real pasting'?:think

Yeah but the point was made earlier,Froch deserved an easier fight for once, doesn`t mean he now wants to start fighting stiffs all the time.

Mack isn't exactly the ultimate bum either,he's miles ahead of anything Cleverly has faced.Froch just made it look **** easy smashing him to pieces is all.
Froch would eventually catch upto Clev who hits nowhere near hard enough to bother him and crack his chin.

To be fair, look at Carl's list of opponents before Mack. He was almost entitled to an 'easier' one. :think

Exactly. Cleverly hasn't really fought any tough opposition...his hardest fight was with Tony Bellew, who he was dismissing as a 'domestic' fighter at a time when he was striving for better things, and Bellew did more than enough to warrant a rematch which Cleverly doesn't want to give. I can see his jab and work-rate giving Carl some problems, but Cleverly deserves more criticism for fighting journeymen than Froch.
