Nottingham boxer Carl Froch says he would love to have a chance at facing American fighter Bernard Hopkins in September.

30-year-old Froch, who is a current WBC super-middleweight champion, has been back training again after taking a short break.

Froch is like any other new and not popular champ. He call anyone, anytime and he hope to secure a big payday. If he goes on and fight again vs guy like Rybacki and Pascal, the money will never be there, and if he fight another guy like Taylor, he may go down and stay in his true place, a ''Miranda like'' gatekeeper. Its a lose lose situation for him, fighting guy who don't bring money, or fighting guy too good for him...

If this fight ever comes off, I`ll bet anyone an avater bet or whatever that Kessler beats him, Froch is a talentless mug.

I disagree. The guy doesn't seem like he wants to test himself. Calzaghe took something out of him and he hasn't done **** since. The guy is possibly the most overrated fighter in the sport today.:deal

 

Beyer,Andrade,Mundine,Calzaghe all are tests.

He hasn't done much since Calzaghe due to managerial issues.

And Froch is a lot more overrated than him.

 

Ever heard that promoters and the contract to which your are tied to stop fighters from facing the ones they wish....
Palle was the one not wanting to take any unnecessary risks because he was milking his cash cow pretty well in Denmark, just like Warren did with Calzaghe for many years...

Kessler is a true warrior and look for him to search for GREAT fights once he's officially free from Team Palle....

 

Froch is becoming my favorite fighter at 168, not necessarily skillwise but his fights are exciting and he wants the best. Kessler and Bute are overrated and ruining the division.

i like the cobras confidence but will cant win all fights. and kess' skill, speed & accuracy be too much for froch.

im a massive froch fan and picked him to beat taylor and all others at super middle except for kessler but with kessler being out of action for so long i'd tip old frochy to do it, perfect timing in my book!

He should buy himself out of his contract. It's really that simple many other fighter have done the same. I'm tired of his fans using that as an excuse. Kessler is 30 years old if not older he needs to do what's best for his career and that's to get away from Palle at all costs.

 

Trouble is Kessler has gone into hiding and is still living off a half decent losing performance against JC.

Kessler must be the only fighter in the world who gets better the less he fights!!!

 

Correct. Calzaghe and Hatton both split from Warren. Kessler should do the same if he's serious
