Ward would toy with groves who is very limited, stupid in the ring

But it'd still be a better fight than froch vs ward

Froch should rematch GG with an incorruptable american referee, or
retire right now. He would get absolutely ****ed up by any relevant
name at 175, Ward would school him again and I also like GGG to lay
him out. Froch has had a british level HOF career and is a legit 3
time world champ. He's had a great career considering most of us
thought he would get starched before world level when he was talking
so much smack when he was a 15 fight novice. Member those days?

There is no way Ward should ever go to Britain.

    Too many bogus decisions/preemptive stoppages.

Ward is in the controlling seat here. Froch should go to Oakland!

The referee would stop the fight immediately if Ward just slip.

Froch needs to rematch Groves before he fights anyone..............

There is no way Ward will fight Froch in UK or anywhere else. Ward will only fight in his home town with his referee, judges, boxing commission, etc.......now Froch knows why.............

Ward won't ever fight in UK, unless he would be able to teleport the all Oakland in there. :)

@ smw theres NO other fight that I want to see than the Froch vs Groves rematch.

p.s JCC Jr is a lhw - cruiserweight right now.

He could rematch him on the Moon, same outcome. Ward will always beat Froch, probably even more so now

Ward didnt embarass Froch at all. That is something said by Ward fans to try and build him up after beating an old limited SMW.
    Why should Ward not travel?

Can only wish him the best

We dont know whats in his mind.
One thing I notice is many fighters lose an undefeated record and just dont seem the same. Do you think Groves would go in as aggressively again against Froch or worry about a potential stoppage loss again, even if we all dont think he was out of the fight?
Look at how Andre Dirrell lost a close fight to Froch, then suffered a KO in winning his next fight and hasnt been the same. Look at how many felt Bute who had looked devastating before Froch didnt feel he was the same fighter after.

How has Frochs confidence been shattered?
It may have been, I dont know, but tell me how?
Froch is an old SMW now and has been in similar situations where he was being outboxed by J Taylor before the finish, where some felt he lost to Dirrell, where he lost to Kessler coming off a loss and unwell, where he only beat old G Johnson by Mdec, where he lost to Ward

Why do you keep going on about Calzaghe. Seems just his name makes you feel insecure :oops::lol:

We dont know how hios confidence will be either way, but after a loss many fighters change how the approach a fight and we dont know if Groves would go to war like that again and he doesnt have as much to lose having a loss, its that undefeated mentality

People seem awfully worried about Froch getting into trouble against Froch

I know where they both fought. America. Ward was an American in America and Froch was a foreigner.
Russia is a massive country, bigger than America, but do you think if Pirog was born in the East of Russia but was fighting an American fighter in the West of Russia that it would be a neutral location?

    Its a question mark.
I felt Groves was well ahead and dont think the fight should have been stopped and think Groves would have gone on to have won, but we will never know
Froch is an old slow SMW, so you have to favour Ward, but tell me what big SMW fights has an American SMW won in Europe

Groves' actions and words suggest otherwise. Bute had a rematch clause I think, but doesn't seem too interested in avenging his loss. Groves on the other hand, seems extremely keen on a rematch. This suggests to me that he is very confident and not mentally broken at all and I doubt there is anything physically wrong with him. You mention a few examples of guys who were not the same after losing their undefeated record but Bute has only had one fight since and Dirrell got KO'd by AA which probably had more effect on him. Also there are many fighters who lost and came back fine or even better than before. For all we know this loss could make Groves stronger as a fighter and as a person.

We dont know until he fights again.
Froch said straight after at ringside about a rematch.
Of course Groves is going to want a rematch, he said he feels it was take from him, but that doesnt mean he will fight with the same intensity and with the same disregard, as often the unbeaten mentality doesnt think they can be KOd until after it happens or could be worried about an early stoppage.
I hope Groves gets on with his promising career as I was one who felt Groves would win and put money on him (2 bets. One for Groves to win and the other to score a stoppage). I have watched Groves alot and wasnt massively shocked by the knockdown or big punches he landed, but was amazed at how Froch took the punches even with his known ability to take a big shot
