:good Heh, I like Carl the Reckless Cobra. What he loses on his limited skills he gets with his great heart and balls:yep
Kessler has an excellent stamina. The last rounds will be the same as the 8 first rounds. The only advantage I give to Froch is he is probably better to adjust than Kessler. The problem I see is Kessler won't have to adjust against Froch.
Too true , he needs to spend ten years of title defences with 99% of the world not having a ****ing clue who he is Maybe Mario Viet would make a better title defence C'mon man , before the Lacy fight if you stopped someone in the street and showed them a picture of Calzaghe they wouldnt know who he was. Calzaghes career in a lot of ways was a huge waste so Carl is trying to do the exact opposite. Short time - big noise , not 10 years of toiling away in relative obscurity.
That's the main reason why I put undecided, if Kessler doesn't show too much ring rust then I expect him to win a clear decision.
LOL. Poor Carl, he has no chance of getting recognition. If he beats Kessler everyone will say it was because Kessler has ring rust or was overrated to begin with. If Froch loses, they'll say Frochs wins against Taylor and Pascal were flukes. Boxing's a cruel sport.
respect both fighters, this fight would be epic.. but again i have to go with kessler not ruling out a froch win though,
No question, on paper Kessler is just about the worst fighter Carl can face but Carl aint found a way to lose yet so who knows.
Watch him fight...you'll get it. I may be wrong, but i think Kessler would have beat Pascal and Taylor more easily.
I've seen him fight twice. Vs Calzaghe and vs Sartison. He lost against Calzaghe (fair enough) but to be honest I didn't find his performance against Sartison to be awe inspiring. Good, solid but not mind blowing.
