Exactly! And this is why I would pick Kessler or Pavlik to demolish Froch and make it look easy. It's such a simple fight. Jab - right hand - close with a hook: wash-rinse-repeat. And there would not be a damn thing Froch to do to stop it.

For Pavlik , I don't know, he seem to have hard time avoiding counter-punch, Froch is a good counter-puncher and he could make him pay with this. Like someone around here (another thread) said before, Kessler defense is very good, but body punch seem to bother him more than it should. This is maybe the only chance for Froch to pull this one, another lucky (if luck exist...) ko.

The Romanian part in Bute is enough for Froch, he don't need his Canadian part....;)

We need to see this one very soon, Bute vs Froch should be a very very good fight. Skill vs Will

On technical ability and solid fundamentals you have to give the nod to Kessler, but his long spell of inactivity raise's a few question marks. He looked good in the early part of the Calzaghe fight and he seemed to be handling Calzaghes high workrate quite comfortably, and landed some great shots, most noticably the uppercuts. Now for the negatives,he's pretty predictable and throws the same combination nearly every time, more worryingly though for Kessler is how he seemed to lose heart once he realised he couldn't stop Calzaghe,he seemed to just go through the motions in the later rounds.A prime Kessler will give Froch fits, and its not an unwinnable fight for Froch, but i'm with Govanmauler on this,Froch would have to stop Kessler,i just dont see Froch having the workrate to beat him on points.

Dont want to go tru all post, so dont know if any have reply to this!
But, anyway.. I understand you wasn`t impressed with Kessler against Mundine, many wasn`t including me! But Kessler had a back injury for that fight, he was only able to do 30 sparringrounds up to the fight, and he stated that he was afraid to throw to many hard punches.. if his back couldn`t handle it! But he still beat Mundine convincingly.. imagine if it was a 100% Kessler, Mundine would be KOed inside 3 rounds!
