Froch: I'm not happy about Ward working with Conte

Wondering if Froch is just dishing up some heat....though it could be simplified as Froch reversing the pressure.


Regardless, as has been mentioned......what does Conte do so well that it merits a fighter having such a name in/on there team ?

To be fair I think anyone fighting for titles should be Olympic style drug tested! Not just title fights either, any big fight were a lot is at stake and I think all other fighters should be randomly tested all year around! Olympic style drug testing us the only way forward IMHO!! Get the cheats out the sport!

Don't forget Mosley's testimony about BALCO. Ward will cheat, he has proven himself on that within his home town, his referee and judges...........Froch should have everything checked out. Froch will need a knockout to get a draw in America! Ward usually fights in his home town while his opponent have to travel thousands of miles, he gets to break the rules with his personal referee.................Froch is correct to be careful, Ward does not believe in a level playing ground..............remember, he will be fighting Ward in Ward's country, don't forget what happened when Froch beat Kessler in Kessler's home country, he won, but they judges gave the decision to Kessler. Ward in America will be the same...........And yes, Conte...........ask BALCO Mosley, or go back to Mosley's deposition..............

I don't think there needs to be full scale Olympic testing (which is regular random testing ALL YEAR ROUND, not just in the run up to contests). I think occasional blood testing with lengthy or life time bans for guilty parties is ample deterrent for boxing.

As said above, it should be throughout the sport not just the top. A fight is a fight and all steps should be taken to ensure fighters safety.

Froch is right to be skeptical.

I have a hard time understanding why so many athletes go to Conte. I mean if Conte is only giving them legal substances, then why tar you reputation by associating yourself with him, when you could apparently be getting what he's providing elsewhere?
