If neither this or Ward v Dirrell happens this year then for me it's been the worst boxing year in memory.

Wouldn't mind some more sources about this.
When I hear "back injury", I'm a bit sceptical.
I haven't seen any response since the Dirrell v Ward fight was made for the title. Hope this isn't any behind the scenes nonsense.

I think we'll just have to accept the super six for what it is and not take it too seriously. If we expect tournaments like this to go exactly as planned then we'll be left dissapointed, it just won't happen. As a tournament it's been a bit of a shambles. However, it has given us some very good fights, fights that might not have happened if it wasn't for the super six. It's forced the best to fight the best (even if delayed) and stops the fighters invovled from cherrypicking.

Hope Carl gets fit and the tournament doesnt grind to a halt like Goossen and Ward want. Froch has invested too much in this in which he's lost his belt. However, Goossen and Ward are being shites, as has been evidenced since the very first Fitghtcamp 360 even though showtime have bent over backwards for Goossen and Ward so that he hasnt fought outside Oakland yet. This delay may be of benefit because if Ward is unwilling to fight Dirrell on anything other than 100% his own terms it will impact on the viabiility of Froch-Abraham. Why should Froch and Abraham smash each other up (which they will given their styles) when those c**ts Goossen and Ward are looking for a way out. Hope showtime dont let them wriggle out of it
