Terrible news. I'm not ready to write off the Super 6 as some sort of unmitigated disaster though - if both fights actually happen, having to wait a little longer is a small price to pay.
Hopw long? Maybe Green could step in for Abraham. If Green throws punches I believe he'd actually have a chance against Froch. If he doesn't he'll get beaten up.
Agreed mate...well pissed of this fight is going to be postponed...Kessler dropping out was bad enough....but now we have to even wait longer for what could possibly be the most exciting fight in the tournament....as long as the fight actually happens in the next 6 months....i dont mind waiting....because its a brilliant match up....
And so the Super 6 goes down the sewer. Sauerland were so vocal about the tournament, its success and how proud they were. Haven't heard them talk about the Super 6 in a while
AIDS AIDS everywhere. Injuries happen - it's not the tournament's fault. Still, more people in the World now have AIDS as a direct result of this fight not happening.
Son of a...! This 2010 has been consistently **** so far. And I definately don't think this postponement has anything to do with a poxy back injury. Someone's obviously not happy with a WBC title not being on the line anymore. Such a shame that this brilliant tournament is being hit with bad luck after bad luck.
http://www.spox.com/de/sport/mehrsp...ampf-gegen-carl-froch-ab-rueckenprobleme.html According to Abraham“s management, they are still planning to make this fight happen in Monaco this year.
I wanna be upset, but really all I can do is just smh and laugh. 2010 is the worst year Ive ever experienced as a boxing fan.
