Froch injured, no fight with Abraham

December 18, perhaps? That's the date for Marco Huck's first fight in the Cruiserweight Super Six, Sauerland could stage a mega event in Monaco if they included Abraham vs Froch on that card.

It can't happen on December 4 (Sturm) and December 11 (Wladimir), that's for sure.

The only fight I was genuinely looking forward to this year isn't going to happen.

Guess I'll have to wait until Bradley/Alexander and Khan/Maidana (if they happen).

as i predicted....just go ahead and cancel calling it a tourney and just reschedule the fight...this thing will stretch out over 2 years......

Should be rescheduled for one of the following dates:

October 23
November 6
November 27
December 18

(Sauerland does have planned shows for other dates but Froch has repeatedly stated he does not want to fight in Denmark or Germany, and I cannot imagine the fight as part of the Haye vs Harrison undercard either)

 

by the time december rolls around it will be 9 months since abraham vs dirrell. they should call it the super 6 year tourney
