Ward has never fought a great southpaw with speed, good movement in the ring, more than average reflexes, and a damn strong KO punch. Plus that Bute has in his arsenal the uppercut to the body shot wich can very well be the best single punch in boxing today, a shot wich can be highly effective in both medium and close range,

Take a pen an note: Bute's skills are far better than Froch's skills. Boxing matches don't mean numbers. Only childs think that way. Boxing is about two guys hitting each other in a square called ring. The fighters take their skills with them, they surely don't think about stats and numers. Bute is about as skilled as Ward. The difference is that Ward has considerably more experience. However, I have seen in my life plenty of matches in wich determination > experience.


Ward shouldn't be worried about Bute if he looks at the romanian's numbers, but that's about as far as it goes. If Ward and his trainer take a look at what Bute can really do in the ring, at his boxing skills - and trainers often look at those "insignificant" things called abillities to do something in certain situations - trust me, he has plenty to worry about. That is the reason why Andre Ward doesn't want the fight now. Bute is somehow an unknown factor in big matches. He can fail, but it's also possible to see a better, more determined to proove himself, Lucian Bute in the big fights.

It will be interesting to see Forch if he loses to a fighter that he disregards. What will his attitude be afterwards?
