Bika still in the mix , young fighter would have to beat a guy like him or Jonhson to crack that top 5. The division is really competitive so it's almost impossible to agree on ranking depending where we are from or wich are ours favorites boxers.

If Dirrell had a pair of balls he'd be up there. Froch, Bute, Ward, Kessler, Dirrell, (not in that order) and then we're looking at some of the younger guys. I suppose you're right about Bika being a gatekeeper of sorts. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

Dirrell got all the talent in the world , is an elite athlete , he could have been pro in many sports but i'm not sure boxing was the best one for him :think he seem to lack heart and warrior spirit (he have time to prove me wrong)

When he come back (suppose to be in 2 weeks) he would definitly need to be in everybody ranking!

 

Dirrel is maybe the most talented smw , i like his style but he hasn't Bika's mentality as " killer instinct" .

Bika , I think has a good "killer instinct" . A mix between Andre Dirrel talent plus Bika's k instinct would be fantastic.

Yeah, Dirrell has all the attributes just not the application. Not sold on his defence though-I think he needs to work on not being hit without having to run like a scared deer. If he could do that he'd be big trouble for anyone in the division.

I would like to see Andre Ward fighting with Andre / Anthony Dirrel , of course to be fair judges and ref ; not a fixed fight. It would be a interesting fight ....... I think Anthony D. is the WBC manadatory after the winning against St Juste , so maybe it would happen.

 

I'd call it a lack of defensive nous. He's simply not a born fighter, as you said already. Khan is similar, although Khan is more keen to engage his opponents.

That fight would most likely end with a dq win for somebody. Bika can not help but be dirty and Carl would react. It would be very ugly.

Bute dismantled Bika though, easier than Calzaghe or Ward did. That does not mean **** though, in how he would do against Ward though.
